Great video! In terms of constructive feedback, I think it's better to leave out the more pervasive pointers among software use, such as "minimizing windows" and etc, to ensure maximum retention and effect on viewers.

Thank you for this video - it is very helpful!! I have a question - is it possible to adjust the path model for covariantes (e.g. age, education, sex)? In this case, do I have to add paths for every single one of these variables in the SEM buider? Thank you in advance!! :)

Thank you very much for the video. I have learnt how to do path analysis from the video. Here I have two question: 1. I can remove one square(one variable) if I don't want it. I cannot find delete bar which you mentioned in the video. 2. how can I get predicted probability for an outcome for a certain group. Thank you very much

Thanks a lot for this example. I am failing to run the model as Stata give a an error that cannot estimate unnamed variables. While all variables have been named.

So, difference between confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis is that only measurement variables (no latent) variables are part of SEM analysis in the later?

Actually, there is path analysis with manifest variables (as shown in this video) and path analysis using latent variables. The latter represents a combination of both CFA and path analysis. Hi , I have one dependent variables called ( IWFP billion m3 ) for 3 crops. and 4 independent variables ( RWr billion m3 year-1 + Ta Celsius + precipitation mm + productivity kg/ha for 3 crops) Yearly data for a country Observation 19 years I want to do the analysis and see the effect of independent variables, Please any suggestions, which is the perfect model I can apply and dealing with ?? , thank you in advance

Hi Soeharto, 'medsem' should allow you to be able to evaluate the specific indirect effects in the model shown in the video. I do note caveats in this Powerpoint about the limitations of the package when evaluating specific indirect effects: drive.google.com/file/d/1I3-5nxr2dthTJVr9kBjDyifvG5wXZqm8/view?usp=sharing Another option if you are not using the 'medsem' is to go with this approach using a bit more coding in the do-file: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4xfxbqlvuTA.html In this video I use a couple of illustrations that are fairly simple. But you can extend them to situations where you might have serial mediation where the effect of X on Y occurs through multiple mediators. I hope this helps!
