Thank you for making this video! It was super helpful to me since so many other beginner videos that I found really glossed over a lot of these basic details.
Right off the rip I could tell POE is a bit more complicated than Diablo, so there is going to be a lot of trial and error. So this leads me to my question: Every so often im running across these underground areas where you collect wisp. I ran across someone who allowed me to pick a tree. I only had 1 tree available at the time and the tree allows me to collect more wisp. Is there anyway I can change this tree to something else and if I wanted to where would I go to find this person again or does he just randomly pop up?
This is the current league mechanic, which is seasonal basicly. You can change the tree at a later point, so don't worry about that. There is 1 thing you should know though, this current league/season ends in a few weeks I think D:
Just started this game, and this video is the best explanation so far for what seems like a very complicated system. The game is a lot more fun than Diablo 4 that's for sure..
Would be great to show the leveling progression of character from act1 to 10 for beginner as I'm. How skills, items and rest are being changed and why. This is what I miss in all guides. I know hectic series but why not ;D
Some build guides have that. Because its so different from build to build. So sadly I dont think I can make a series on that^^ But I do have a forum build guide for an occultist that does have leveling from act 1-10 in it and how to progress maps
so but what I didnt get: for example your bow, do the gems only link to the socket next to each other or is the very 1st socket linked with the very last socket?
You can put your main skill gem in any of the sockets, as long as they are "linked" to any other sockets, and you put support gems in the other sockets :)
Quick question. If I put the same skill gem in two different pieces could I use different support gems for the same skill gems and get 2 different supports for the same skill??
@@BergerBrush would that be viable tho? I’m using duelist with splitting steel and banner flag with the ice blink or whatever and don’t really need another dmg ability for right now. So just use two splitting steel skill gems with different supports on each?
