Next video: DEFENSIVE LAYERS. LAYERS! Do never rely upon one or two only (eg Block and Life). It's about the layers, like in IRL stylish clothing. And layers which fit your character and gear choice well (Intelligence, Dex, Strenght). RE: Life A detail. A primary Intelligence character (Witch) can never have the highest life. Thus, for your character, depending on Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity - pick the appropriate defensive layer. Example: Dexterity >> Evasion, Phase Acrobatics Keystone and Arrow Dancing with it. Or Block. For Strenght and Dexterity its Evasion and Block. Armour. More layers: BLIND! Physical dmg reduction through Arctic Armour and Basalt and Granite Flask. Clever Layer Combination: Phase Acrobatics + Mind Over Matter + Some Evasion gear + flasks w evasion rating and evasion + Arctic Armour + Basalt Flask for more phys dmg reduction. Because we are low armour, adding a Granite Flask with little base armour we have does not help much. But if you have lots of armour, then pick a Granite flask with armour rating. You have a solid point, there is another point to keep in mind though. While a witch cannot get the highest level of health compared to other classes there are some builds that will require you to still build a high amount of health as one of your layers of defense. (Necromancer is a great example since you are attempting to build strength to increase your efficiency with the Barron helmet.) Your main defensive stat won't always be based on your character class as much as what skills and gear you are running with that class. (Which can be a bit counterintuitive at times). Fortunately with the freedom that the passive tree grants you can typically find the stat nodes that you need for any given build. The skill gem setup is another great point, I briefly touched on that with my movement skill setup but the more in depth explanation is nice. I do feel it warrants its own video due to the potential complexity of the different methods for stacking curses, auras and skills with movement skills, cwdt, and similar gems). The % increase is much more important in endgame as it gives higher values with already high base stats.Main reason for dying on ps4 are still the frame rate drops and game crashes...
Btw many builds have different options to build them.u can optimise offense or defense...what i have learned in 3seasons ps4 so far is that u should always take the defensive route rather than max out dps.

@@BullShifter oh thanks , than i change the magic find stat if my dps begin to drop. In the story mode on normal if the Resistens are by 75% it is easy to survive. I think in the Tier maps its would be better go for higher dps... But thanks i lern new things in ur video ;)
@BullShifter Done both of those and I was great until -30% and with the next -30% I will be finished off. Some reason this character is unlucky in finding gear.
@BullShifter I have tried it dipping my toe and not until my level 80 character was I able to handle it but he was hung up until post update in a week. My next build that I am talking about is level 55 berserker so going into the depths I am not so sure he can do without the resists and besides I really never found anything of use in there. Maybe I am not doing it right but I sure freak out seeing the global messages about someone going down over 23k depth over there when my best character has only managed down to about 5 barely going outward.

I've legit just forgone equipping the best gear available to me and rolling with the highest rarity drop % chance items i come across...most my gear is under my level for sure and i suffer for it. Probably a bad way to approach the game with your first character. Didn't consider the fact that when the new league drops i have to start over. Am a noob to this game.
Everyone starts somewhere. As long as you continue to learn there are no real mistakes. Just think of how much more you'll be prepared for the next league compared to how prepared you were for the first.
