*Sad and weak as well as pathetic. Just take the L and go on. I do, be it a scummy player or a good honest fight for survival/food/challenge for resources. If the predator manages to kill my herdmate I also stop attacking, they hunted for food so unless they continue fighting me after the kill I don't continue engagements. It's sad that carnivores have to be *so on edge* after making a kill. Not everyone wants or can find salt or corpses which are likely already claimed. I understand that. I gg and move on. Heck, even a failed hunt attempt at me. Takes a bit of body language effort to get the point across, I'm willing to stop beating your ass if you stop. I don't need to kill you, take the loss, heal and continue living or try again.

@@PestilentAllosaurus yeah, I won't lie tho, I have done it before BUT it was because they were being incredibly toxic aka going to sll to murder everything over and over again so I spawned my cheri in to massacre the bastards. That's what I enjoy doing on here now, putting certain characters around key locations and making sure there aren't any toxic players around, if there are then they've chosen death

@@PestilentAllosaurus I was once a juvie eotrike like literally spawned in 1 minute before this happened with my friend who was a adonto also just spawned in we where found some tasks when I walk off for a sec then a adult alio started attacking him not ever playing adonto before didn’t crouch so I was booking it back and right when I got their he died. Then the alio eats a bite and looks at me then we full on charged at each other some how I got behind it it runs to the water but I not stop when in the water I keep stabbing him and he died. Honestly he probably felt like shit firing to a fresh spawn

It's especially pathetic when they use their entire roster of characters to try to kill you and they just end up getting all of their dinos killed

Also, when an anky is crouching just leave until it moves from the crouch position because ankys get a 90% damage and bleed reduction when they crouch Edit: if an anky does the side sweep tail attack they will have a timer of 3 seconds(i think) on all it’s attacks. So if it does that attack, get free hits in!

Hmm.. I always found the baby stage insufferable in any of these games. Slower and weaker. Practically free food. Your whole life depends on playing super careful and hoping you don't meat anyone. Fun. As an adult I can run or fight at least not play graphic setting based hide and seek.

So how you want juvi stage to be? To kill adults?

Carnidoom no they should be able to run away from things bigger than them for the most part and fight off anything around similar size. Games like the isle where being spotted by an adult is basically a guaranteed death encourage afk growing lmao

@@tryphania7356 The thing this game has over the Isle and BoB is when you die you don't lose all of your progression like you do in the Isle and this game has more realistic dinos compared to BoB so I would say this game is the better of the two.

Most people i saw invite u in a group and if u dont accept they attack u lol Idk what the devs took when implementing a 10% speedboost for groups and encouraging mixpacking lmao

I’m sure it’s the devs encouraging everyone to run in packs and not rely on solo, I mean that is kind of how Dino’s do back then lol

I see alot of people getting angry at revenge killing but I don't see any problems with it. Its not like you lose all your progression and start from scratch. You just lose a small bit of progression that can easily be made back up. The things I have a problem with is mix packing carnivores with herbivores guarding large areas of the map and killing anything that comes into those areas or groups guarding home caves and not letting anyone in them if they aren't part of their group. Revenge killing is nothing just kill them and move on so when they do get back they wont find you.

@@dabberwocky3666 I’m aware,but keep in mind I primarily play on two community servers,being etis Least when it’s got people in it and asura I believe it is,it’s a community server that uses the najuro mod map.Which are both deathmatch,therefore growth I have never fully dealt with.But when I see a t bag come out it usually means your 3 mention.

@@odysseus5322 I primarily play on the growth open servers and have actually encountered the number 1 reason more often than 3 tbh . WIth growth when you get killed it you randomly spawn elsewhere and the people who are kos generally never say anything so you rarely actually see your aggressor.

The devs are working on something to avoid revenge killing, it's on PTB now :D

@@dabberwocky3666 It's how you do the art of teabagging. Is it a twerk dance of peace? If so proceed to give space to the individual and begin twerking process, head banging to the dance helps give the body language of vulnerability as you surrender the ability to see clearly and do a funny appearance. Having something in your mouth or giving a peace offering item after said twerk also helps. A quick distant teabag with a friendly call can sometimes also suffice in a "I'm busy but mean you no harm" Teabagging on top of a corpse, or any sort of behavioral movement is just disrespect if it isn't eating it. This concludes our teabagging/twerking class for today.

Yeah, I am interested in the game but I don't want to be hunted by groups of sweaty nerds that are on voice chat and swap to their strong dinos to wear me down if I win.

Actually, in the PTB the devs are already working on an anti revenge killing system. When you die, all of your other saves near the area you died in become unplayable for 5 minutes. This is subject to change though since it's still in the PTB.

They should add a debuff or something for attacking your own species/herbi and it would only apply to the one who hits first- They could make it so that, it can be turned off on some servers that want "semi-realism" and that some herbis get to guard their territory and mating ground or whatever- And for killing a juvi of your own species there could be a physical effect to your outlook (like make your dino more "evil" looking) so that it would be a visual giveaway for the baby killers. I really do hate these "hunting" Herbivores so much...

@@ArisuOkami Actually that reminds me, the new anti revenge killing system does have a damage de buff right after you spawn back in after dying. This is subject to change though since it’s on the PTB.

This is why all my Dino’s stay Juvie. XD can never get a fair fight or a fair enough time to play without feeling burnt out by the amount of deaths. The servers of official are lined with mixpack KOSers and toxic KOS’ers.. it’s fun with a juvie you don’t care about, but when it gets to five hours and you freak spawn into danger right after that much time has passed then lost it all to many deaths. It’s not as fun for beginners. And for the people that tell others to not complain because they all went through that. Naw they didn’t. Even had one tell me they wouldn’t be able to play juvies anymore, not even for fun because they admitted it’s no longer fun with how many people kill them and they would have done the same thing to a juvie they spotted, hungry or not they love each other’s toxicity and don’t care if it means no new players can make it to adulthood after 15 hours of growing their Dino. No joke it’s sad but I’m still trying to grow eo after about 13 hours. Still in juvie stage because of how many KOS’ers. I then played in some different servers that were quiet and got about 3 Dino’s to adult within two days since there wasn’t any KOSers . Official needs some help. Especially with the mix packing of many Chinese KOS’ers. Anyways sorry for the rant and yeah I’m a little salty and bitter and I guess to many who play pot, no fun. But I even got evidence of the KOS’ers saying how unfun it would be to play on official as a juvie so I don’t know. XD anyways sometimes it is hilarious when my juvie can just run them in circles and they fall, me included off a cliff to my run. Haha

honestly dealt with worse on the isle , but now you have people dropping the isle and coming to PoT the community use to be SUPER Chill , the more isle players showed up the more toxic it got.

@@nerdynina4734 I think it was chill back when PoT had very little in the ways of gameplay. Everyone used to be be one spot and just chat. Now there's more to do and something at stake, the player base is changing.

Actually I was the Daspleto from the recording, and my dino is fully grown XD Also ye, that was just sad to watch that braindead Spino almost die to me. If it wasn't for the damned tree, I would've killed it.

It's cause herbies are OP as fuck, and everyone wants to play the OP chars, it's still the same to this day.. If you aren't running as a pack of carni's you might as well forget about hunting, game is actually trash in this aspect. There is not one carni that can 1v1 a competent EO or Stego,(except spino's on occasion.) they need to implement TREX or buff Allosaurus and Dasp.

Sadly that's true af. They honestly need to do a re-balance of the dinos instead of adding more. With official servers I haven't bothered growing most of the big carnos for that reason.

Ik I’m tryna lvl up my rex and die to Agro herbis all time and loose progress so I found another guy and we now duo together on pot and it’s so fun killing ppl wen they attack us we killed adult spin-off as adolescent rexes so fun

@@PestilentAllosaurus I love the pot devs for the amount they listen to the community and actively try to make the game better for everyone without losing their vision for the game. You gotta admit its funny at times, I main alio and when I kill someone on a stronger dino who came for me first then they pick an apex to come get me I cant help but laugh. Just hit em with a git gud, they'll never financially recover lmao

@@2b2v I recommend you going to Asura death match, the map is a mod but has a ring that people use for 1v1 and such! Not super awesome for small ones like Laten or Deino but is good for practice

Kosing as herbi is fine depending on what u kos lol Like kos other herbis is most of the time being an asshole, but a carni that wants to eat me, can kill me or will be later able to kill me. I go for it to have the advantage in the fight and kill it or hurt it so bad it wont dare come back

Herbis especially powerfull ones are extremely boring to play when you’re a slow adult. Almost nothing wanna risk attacking you so you just walk around doing nothing with your life. I know it’s an old comment, but i wanted to reply anyway lol

yeah, the black spino attacked the dasp so I wanted them to 1v1 no interfering. I was keeping the hurt spino away from helping the black one.

That dino was altrady big, so, the player probably alrrady hAd that Ano grown and around that area previously. It's only rsndom when you first spawn or after you die and spawn on the ssme dino

Eotrike needs speed nerf, stam buff and bleed imo

In my opinion it only needs a speed nerf nothing else. It if gets bleed it would just be a better vegetarian spino and it wouldn’t make sense that this giant herbivore would be running for a long time

Eo needs speed nerf and adding a counter carni, even the -speed subspecies is speedy

Have you ever seen an elephant run? Big things can be fast and its TERRIFYING. Adds to the whole, "Don't mess with that" vibe. Slow walking ok, big things need energy saving. But I hate when a big thing runs in slow motion like gravity isn't gonna cripple ya for it.

@@BiohazardPsycho yeah big things are pretty fast but eo can catch up to a bunch of thing in the game so a slight speed nerf is needed
