a new mod dino arrived and it is hilarious. the animations are awesome and the sounds are very special XD it also has a new and unique ability which makes it quite interesting to fight. in general it seems pretty viable and is very fun to play.
we played on Islander's server which I can recommend so far. you can find his server in the community servers and check out the rules on Islander's discord.

I love the baby maip and yuty because both there broadcast roars sound like they are trying to sound intimidating but sounding more cute doing it

yeah, they sound so cute. I mean, in real life if you walk through a field and hear these calls (knowing which creature does them), then it would be intimidating to be honest. but, in the game they just sound adorable

What a great mod! The dino looks quite unique and its animations and calls are awesome. I love the digging animation, more so since krypto didn't have one and that always took me out of immersion a bit. You did a great job with the yuty! Especially at 13:32, that was some quick thinking to save you fall damage!

Baby maip is 10/10 when it comes to cute calls. YOU CAN'T CHANGE MY MIND. Mombie is making good quality, 4k videos for us. This is no exception. Edit: Btw, you should've done the other emote for bby maip.

Maip is such an interesting dinosaur, if I remember correctly it was the specimen that backed up and pushed the theory of megaraptors being related to tyrannosaurids paleontologically! In the past they've been classified as both allosaurids and also their own classification but the tyrannosaurid theory is the most solid rn because of this guy Essentially, when megaraptors started to die out, early tyrannosaurids took over their spot as apex predators, it's really interesting imo! The sound design being hyena-like and squeaky was a nice surprise! I'd absolutely love to see my favourite megaraptor Australovenator (I might be biased because I'm Australian) nicknamed "the cheetah of dinosaurs"

thx for the interesting infos I have to admit, I didn't know the Australovenator. it's amazing how many new dinos they discovered since I was a child. not a single megaraptor was known back then oO

Yeah! I hear an australovenator mod was in the works at one point for PoT but i have no idea if it's completed yet. I hope they make it speedy to honour it's nickname!@@da.mombie

This is a small tip when trying to get up rocks your slightly on , just crouch and slowly try to walk up it. It almost always works for me. A great maip vid !

Im just curious who decided to name this biggest Megaraptoran ever discovered as Maip. He probably the type of man who like it plain and simple, and i respect that. 😆😁 I think they intended to make this creature menancing with all those creepy voice, sadly we already get used to the Bone chilling voice of the Isle Dilo, so this type of voice is never gonna makes us shit our pants, instead we find it rather hillarious to hear cause they Made it from hyena's sound 😂😂😂. They should use pootoo bird sounds, especially great pootoo, Im sure everyone hearing the sounds Will shit their pants 🤣🤣🤣

dilo sounds was quite unique. but, no matter what sound you give them, the times I was scared from calls is long gone. sadly, was a good time :/ anyway, maip is hilarious. I love it's sounds and they really did a good job with all the animations

I don’t think Maip is always the easiest dino to play (they can't swim to save their lives 😮) But The sounds, animations, skins and overall look just makes it such a cool and fun dino!
