Great work on the video. In regards to gameplay, i was actually there (was a bird), did not interfere, i was just watching the fight, you guys were amazing even when outnumbered you and Z outplayed those "wannabes". Couldn't believe you guys survive this long. That was an epic fight. If im not wrong this fight continue near HC where they regrouped and you guys won there too.
Yeah i think I remember you saying in global chat. Thanks, it was a good fight and yes it did extend to the homecave a little later but I felt it dragged on abit too long and alot of it was attacking a hunkered Anky until the rex and second anky comes. Wasn't as good of a fight.
This game really needs to cultivate a better combat system I really hate the fact that 90% of the battles with T-Rex and Spino is just defending yourself from being tail-ridden the entire battle that’s so boring.
Yeah i agree mate. My community post I wrote just earlier today addresses this kind of stale combat dynamic. I discuss ability fatigue in that post and will be discussing more small but affective additions to POT combat.
@@Fartosaurus ya another reason I feel path is on the correct path,but aren't quite there yet. The isle and beasts of Bermuda have good mechanics in some ways...but stale or no real pvp diversity. The isle you bite a few times(depending on dino) and they start to bleed that's it.. no move sets..just bites lol We just need a move kinda like the modded zrex has where it's a fast turn around type movement but has to have a cool down or some way to counter as well. I mean a Dino should be able to move a little less stiff.
@@grimmstreamslive3057 yeah I seen gameplay of the isle. The models clip through eachother I noticed to. Combat looks simple too. These games have potential to be more strategic in combat systems but I feel they get bogged down with realism too much.
I like the police hat. Seeing an Anno is just like seeing the police. All fun ends because you know it's pointless to fight. It's such a broken dinosaur, who wants to fight someone with invincibility perks? Those Rex's are super bad too. Resorting to mix packing is like trying to use cheats in the game. It breaks the system balance and to mix pack with anno? That's the type of people that spit on your burger and never see you eat it.
I’m thinking of growing one on Panjura since I know that map for questing more, do you have any idea when dinos will be transferable? Or do you think I should just grow one on Gondwa despite my lack of growth knowledge lol
@@mystiicc6348 if you going to grow any herbivore on Gondwa, Duck is the go to. The amount of rivers and lakes make travel real easy and versatile. Best place to quest is Green hills - behind and around the homecave. Use the river for easy movement. No idea on the transfer time, I didn't have a duck on paniura anyway so it was a no brainer.
i've been so pissed with an instalation that is so filled with bugs... you my guy, gave me some peace of mind in that last kill and the dedication. for which you deserve all the respect.
Yeah though I still think they need to go a bit deeper with the changes. I seen boring passive abilities like venom skin - requires no skill. Hope they add abilities that actually require skill. I actually think the whole speed, turning and stamina system needs reworking to be made more complex.

Aha maybe! though I don't remember seeing two juvie ducks. There was another 20 minutes of fighting at homecave with ankies and rex that I decided to not include as it drags on a bit.
Imma be honest aside form the heavy mixpacking to try and compensate for their lack of skill it “pachy”especially theses rexes were at must SEMI competent still mid tho
People think Rex needs a nurf but hes easy to counter. If you are fast or play any other apex and just ride the tail instead of trying to face tank then you’ll win 90% of the time. Plus Rex has terrible stem. How is the duck just as big and tanky and semi aquatic but still has so much more stem then the Rex? Rexes always need help to win lol.
This is why mixpacking regarding here carni and herbies wich seems to be the most common in my opinion rather then carnis with carnis or herbies with herbies when its not a herd i guess ? anyway this should not be a thing or at least have something that could help about it otherwise ggs ! and hope they did learn somewhat of a lesson from this.

Btw if you wanna kill a Spino as Duck just use bite, it hits the sail 90% of the time even when ass riding and does about as much as sarcos bite because silly goofy combat weight, plus its faster dps.
@Fartosaurus ah but your forgetting the funny combat weight, i use it all the time to fight spinos. I main the big ol duck man but with thick double defense. The bite dps makes up for its lower dmg, but id only use it against spino as it hits the spine.
@@mucusman7511 the combat weight of a big ol duck is the exact same as a big ol spino. So 20 damage is 20 damage. Claws is like 60 or something or more. I don't understand lol. How is that as much as a sarcos bite? What in gods name is going on? Am I missing something. What year is it?
@Fartosaurus im saying it does alot to smaller creatures lol, but only 20 to spino but its more spammable than the claws and has a better hitbox to land body shots. Your only using the attack if your behind a spino as the attack hits the sail from behind easily so you get more body shots instead of just hitting the tail with the claws shitty hitbox.
@@mucusman7511 I understand what you are saying, but the bite is only a tiny fraction faster than claws, a claw to the base of a spino's tail is basically a body shot. And anyway I'm sure hitting the tail with claw is probably the same damage if not more than hitting the body with a bite. Just like rex biting the base of a ducks tail is basically a body shot I find from experience. I might use bite if my claw is 100% not going to land, but usually I would be inclined to ram right up to the body of a spino and use claws as priority, as you are faster and a have a better turn radius than the spino anyway.
