Teheh i got attacked by 4 baby rex as a baby trike right there at the Salt flats but i fended them off. I got a butt scar from that and still got it on the trike as it is now adult.😂 Hope i meet you in PoT sometime Mombie! Lovely video as always!❤
DASP is very fun to play but I still think it needs more health and I do hate when herbivores T bag since it's just really disrespectful in my way although the I did fight a guy who nodded his head XD
@@da.mombiei don't recommend putting on traction,the regen loss is too big. Turn tail is ymmv, everyone has a different opinion on that. Bone snap is usually used when in a duo or more, one would use it. I've also seen solo dasps use heavy bite and bone snap as an anti apex killer
@@da.mombie If i remember the turn radius, It is activated automatically when you enter the water only with semi-aquatic, and the speed in water, deinosuchus are hard to kill but no impossible. Try play deinosuchus in PoT now xD are so funny to play
perhaps you should play as that sauropod you had a fight with it seems fun and strong or some creatures from mods like dragons or that alien mammoth one i think the dragon one is called ignis
oh yeah, ampelo is definitively on my list I am no fan of fantasy dinos tho. I prefer the "real" ones. but who knows. I may have a look at them at some point. can't promise tho
I didn't feel like it would have been useful in those fights. in general I am no fan of the precise move. it feels akward to walk backwards with a dino :/ so, I only use it if I think there is no other way.
To be honest, the list of animals from PoT seems even worse than in TI. Lots of species here, many of which have the same abilities and are similar to each other. Daspleto is a miniature Trex which is boring, I'm already leaving aside the fact that Trex was added to the game, which was simply due to the popularity of this dinosaur. I would suggest them to add more interesting species rather than very similar animals.
@@da.mombie Reality. They don't have a set list, and as far as I know they create votes there to add an animal. Such pachy and pycno was added just to attract TI players to PoT. Funny thing is that Pycno was a trex among abelisaurus, and in PoT they made him similar to carno from TI xD
@@theblorus6830 honestly, this is my biggest problem with PoT. it doesn't feel like a game someone makes out of passion. I don't feel love from the devs for their own game. it feels like something someone makes to earn money first and foremost. it feels like ubisoft.
10:00 that is why The Isle Legacy is better than that, because you can go throught each other, so it makes fight a bit more interesting, and evrima has good combat mechanics.
I hated this no collision thing. a rex which bites while it runs through a shant was always odd to me. to me this wasn't better at all. evrima has the best fight mechanics in my opinion. but, I would rank PoT above legacy. even if it doesn't have a crazy amount of abilities (beside stat abilities) so far, it still offers way more options than legacy ever had.
@@da.mombieI usually avoid using the traction ability as dasp already has good turn radius but I do use balanced tail as the tail attack doesn’t do much damage and I don’t use bone break very often as the -15% movement speed makes you slower than most mid tiers I’d only use bonebreak on large targets or to ambush smaller ones
@@hablahablo9172 thx for the feedback. in my opinion these are awful abilities. I also don't get why every dino has a group perk, but only amarga has a solo player perk. even rex has just a group perk. why? it's an RPG, let me pimp my dino the way it fits my playstyle best. it wouldn't even be much work, as these are just stat changes anyway ^^
@@da.mombie I use double speed dasp, tail attack, i prefer to keep stam recovery, stam is very important in PoT, fight being long. Bone break is nice against smaller dinos if you ambush in solo, or against apex in team.
@@ybench5871 thx for the feedback. I was just wondering if anyone sacrifices stam. 'cause I would never. like you said, stam is one of the most important things at all. what a stupid ability ^^
