As a person who grew up watching SRK movies and admiring him, I've my fingers crossed for 2023 to be a successful year for him. His passion for cinema and the struggles (especially in the recent years) makes me root for him more than I've ever done for another actor.

@@SmartIndian_7337 Nothing against him. I have a lot of respect and admiration for Mohanlal, his acting is simply unmatched. But I truly believe that he should choose scripts that does more than just glorify him. In quite a number of recent-ish films (not all), you can't see past his stardom, and I know there are a lot of stars like that. But the point is that, with the right story and character, what Mohanlal can do is just too good.

Have you heard of ajith? He had back to back flops in mid 2000s and in 2006 and 2007 he had three releases each, with the last of the releases of each year (varalaaru and billa) being the only blockbusters of the years. So, if pathaan and jawan fail, dhunki may survive.

*the intensity which srk has in his eyes is immense. He speaks without any dialogues. This is definitely gonna bang. The absolute insane frames, the cinematography, the technical aspect looks exquisite. I really liked how they just didn't give deepika a supporting role but a female lead who is actually doing action. Loved it!!*

Siddharth Anand knows how to capture the aura of the beloved actors. He did it with Hrithik, now with SRK. The action scenes, the wide shots, the cinematography, the VFX, all are just so big screen worthy. It is so exciting to see freaking Shah Rukh Khan in mass action movies returning to the big screen after so long.

Just like SRK had surprise appearances in Brahmastra, Lal Singh Chaddha and Rocketry, I hope Salman and Hrittik will also do their parts as Tiger and Kabir in Pathan. SRK may also appear in the same scene in the next installment of Tiger. After all these are all YRF movies.

It’s crazy how star driven Indian mainstream films are, for those who grew up on SRK films this teaser would’ve been exactly what they were looking for. There’s nothing like the euphoria for an actor who you have grown up watching. Having said that, I wish I had the same excitement for Pathan but Jawan and Dunki are just much more exciting to me.

The teaser's intro of Shah Rukh was absolutely fire. I only hope the official trailer is as well-crafted as the teaser and doesn't reveal too much about the story. Every hint of mystery and suspense will increase the appeal and draw crowds to the theatre, especially in light of SRK's absence.

Unrelated but: I have a 'movie idea' for the 3 Khans in a film. If you noticed, all 3 Khans were part of a 'heist film', coincidentally all 3 films released within a year. i will admit the pathaan teasar took me by surprise . its been a while when a big budget movie feels like a big budget movie. the action looks slick and fast even freash for bollywood. Srk never looked this hardcore , john looks fit and ready for action and for everyones pleasure deepika looks stunning which means the movie is going to get hit songs and addition to that she can act . She can act means srk can bounce on and off with someone on screen which is his elements. with bhediya on a positive flow now and the big avatar 2 coming the audeince should be back in the theatre before this movie arrives .the roads looks really promising now for pathan . good its time for bollywood to comeback

Om Shanti Om also had SRK / Deepika together with John Abraham as the antagonist during a time where SRKA had taken a (much more brief) break which led to one of my favorite movies ever plus a huge smash hit. I can’t wait Long Live The King!

I have no doubt that this film will deliver in the mass appeal, locations and action. Like Brahmāstra, I just hope the screenplay and dialogues deliver! It's one of the hardest parts to get right in a film and by god does SRK need an almost perfect comeback!

The teaser is a fabulous. But what intrigues me the most is Pathaan's connection with WAR. And I think this is how it is going to be- Pathaan is untraceable for 3 years. They don't know if he's alive. What if the buddy of Kabir who died as mentioned by him in WAR is Pathaan?

the thing with srk movies is that even if the written content is not strong enough you still manage to form an emotional connect with his character and i really hope that that aspect is not skipped upon while ensuring the massy existence of the star

I'm a huge huge huge SRK fan and can't wait to watch this. However, I'm really looking forward to watching John Abraham as the antagonist. Me (and maybe others feel so as well), am sick of watching him as a policeman or a commando. This seems perfect to suit him that too against SRK in his comeback movie!

The preview looks choppy, the vfx is passable, and the majority of the sequences are lifted directly from Hollywood films. Let's hope the final result is fantastic. The movie will be a flop if the plot turns out to be weak

I trust Shah Rukh Khan period! We all have been waiting for him and with Siddharth Anand we are ready for what they bring us with PATHAN. The best thing about this teaser is well choreographed action sequences, some of the bests we have already seen in South Indian movies this year (VIKRAM special mention). Also Shah Rukh Khan reminded me of John Wick the way he was so agile and calm at the same time.

I think the action sequences are going to be awesome... Because the team responsible for action sequences they've previously worked on Mad max: fury road, Avengers: age of Ultron and Bloodshot... All three were good jam packed action movie plus they relied heavily on VFX... So fingers crossed 🤞

The connect: (WAR & PATHAAN) Kabir from WAR assumes that Pathaan was dead and Pathaan actually gets caught and gets imprisoned after the mission. Unknown to Kabir, Pathaan Zinda Hai Looks like there is a bigger villain in the spy universe... IN WAR Kabir mentioned about his friend who was attacked by Khalid father Rahmani. So, the friend was Pathaan. Pathaan gets caught and gets imprisoned. Pathaan goes missing from 3 years no whereabouts of him (from the dialogues in the teaser). What if KABIR From War movie meets PATHAAN in cameo during climax (After killing John Abraham), both of them being shirtless and having an arm-wrestling match in the end credits scene. Audience will go crazy.
