We got our hands on #Pathfinder2E early and couldn't WAIT to take her out for a test drive. Paizo's Publisher, Erik Mona, personally converted the first ever Pathfinder Society Scenario - Silent Tide - to #PathfinderSecondEdition and we gave it a whirl LIVE on twitchtv/theglasscannon. #GenCon2019 can't come fast enough because this new edition is badass and definitely Glass Cannon Approved™!

Can you turn the audio up and maybe just cap the high end so when you shout excitedly it doesn't blow our eat drums? Instead of making it quiet with random bursts of loud

It's so strange to see these guys in the flesh. I have been listening to GCP and A&A since spring, and I had this mental image in my brain of these guys. It's fun to see what they really look like and how they act out their roleplaying.

Then you should check out the paizo con videos (audio-videos) of 2nd ed. It's where most of these characters were first introduced, and it's about the most hilarious live play I have ever witnessed.

Loved the show, great presentation and funny. Subbed! But one thing that irked me was the way GM kept saying "it's optional" regarding Hero Points. But it's not an optional rule in PF2, so in a broad sense, yes, it's optional in the same way granting treasure as a reward is optional, or allowing a Wizard to cast spells is optional... (ie. everything the GM uses is optional) But it's baked into the rules of PF2 and balanced with them in mind.

If you want all the jazz you still have to pay and the best thing about fantasy grounds is that as the dm you dont have to do any prep setting up encounters or maps. Everything just exists and is in an order that makes sense if you buy a prewritten adventure. And even in a homebrew the drag and drop system is intuitive and easy to use. Plus as far as licenses go only the gm needs on and the whole party can use the free version to join with out losing any functionality

This game was a gem! Loved it. At 2:25:00 someone gave a potion to a dying character to stabilize him. I don't think that works, because to drink a potion is an action. Someone unconscious can't drink stuff. But, Pathfinder 2 is really deadly. Everyone is house ruling something in the first session to avoid an awkward kill.

29:12 I play a western style monk (class: wizard) who is Catholic coded and worships Mystra-Om. He's part of a small sect that believes that all good aligned entities are just aspects of a single Goddess. It is ambiguous if this Goddess actually exists, no independent mage-scientist has yet to verify one of Her appearances. All evil aligned entities are aspects of Baal-Om. He alienates a lot of people by assuming their deities are aspects of his.

The DNA Test can be wrong it rea;;y depends on the database they are using because that's what they test the dna against. so basically, the larger the database, the more accurate it is...
