Causes:
Improper adaptation of major connector to hard palate.
Overextension of major connector on palatal tissues.
Increase the thickness of the palatal connector.
Low VDO (Crowding of tongue and palate).
High VDO (Spasm of levator and tensor muscles).
Overextended lingual flange.
Highly polished denture surface.
