Also South Americans had some of the great civilization lile mayans and aztec which was indeed later replaced by orthodox church. Knowledge were gained by knowledge seekers given the fact that cost used to be very high at that time. Also if cost of travelling would have been expensive for some of the tribe, they would not travel that far for education. I always explain to my medical students how lucky they are to be able to afford all types of medical facilities in India for such low cost.

Indian companies do have a decent reception in Africa and South America. It's just Indians keep looking at USA and Europe.

Cause China is not as affordable, and there is a language barrier, although Chinese are militarily and economically advanced but there medical professionals, particularly with just one specialization are not that experienced due to the fact that china don't like to collaborate with other countries too much, indian doctors study and work closely with western doctors thus have better knowledge of the latest advancements in medical field
