Patina Farm…
When I tell someone that we are leaving Patina Farm, there are two questions they ask…
The first question is “How can you and @stevegiannetti leave this magical place?”
I completely understand why they would question our sanity. Patina Farm, and the Ojai Valley where it is located, is the most energetically healing place that I’ve ever experienced .
Ojai is a gorgeous rural community comprised of caring, creative and spiritual people. We are so grateful for their friendship and love during our time here.
Creating Patina Farm has been a healing journey for Steve and I. Through the process of caring for our property, we have learned some of life’s most important lessons.
One of those lessons is the importance of listening to our hearts. Through subtle hints they’ve been whispering to us over the past couple of years, our hearts have been gently telling us that it is time for a new adventure. There is another piece of land that needs our tending. In return, it will share more knowledge with us.
Like Kevin Costner’s character in The Field of Dreams, we tried to ignore the whispers. We’d be crazy to leave Patina Farm. We’ve spent hours trying to convince each other that we should stay… but the voices kept getting louder, until they were impossible to ignore.
So it is time to say goodbye to our life on Patina Farm. With the help of Nancy Kogevinas @montecito_properties and @ojaipatty a very special family will now call Patina Farm home.
Fortunately, we will have until the end of September to live here while we make our plans to move to @patinameadow
These next few months will provide us with the opportunity to express our gratitude to Patina Farm by being present in each moment she share with us.
The second question people always ask when they find out that we are moving is “Are your animals moving with you?”
The answer is Yes 😊
Our animals are part of our family. We are making plans to move them as gently as possible. If any of you have moved animals across the country, all advice is greatly appreciated.
Steve and I are excited for this new chapter in our life together.
