I'd much rather see a comedian come out with a notebook than come out and do the same act I've already heard! Love seeing guys try new shit out. Keep queefin it up mark, happy holigays!
That's what I do. I just saw all the other open micers doing the same jokes, and they aren't even that hilarious, just kinda funny. I do something new every open mic I hit.
@@SamBassComedy that’s kinda the point of open mics, to develop an act. Of course you can practice a put together act at an open mic but the goal should be writing new material and saving stuff that works.
I assume a few comedians do this as part of their trade. they will go to a more low key club and shoot the shit to see what sticks and try to play around with it to compile a complete set for their touring. I think it also helps them develop a more reactive comedy as it was more live being close up and intimate with the audience. the comedian would prob see more shit than a larger audience would allow.
That's my balding head in the front row. This was a show from this past July. You could tell Mark was really feeling under the weather, but the man is a pro. He pulled through and it was a great show.
I REALLY don’t care when comedians have notes; whether it’s part of the act or not. Funny is funny and that’s all that matters, and Mark’s been sick so kudos to him for still performing 😊
Right, I believe I heard him talk somewhere about using notes because his brain was fried from the virus and incorporated notes into his show out of need.
Damn, Mark handled that drunk “friendly” heckler real well around the 15-17min area of the video. I lost it when he said “geez, is someone gonna taze this guy?” That was Mark’s funny and nice way of telling the staff to do their fkn job lol
I lived in Philly as a child. I know that crowd, for better or worse. I've been following Mark underdog his way to the top as my vote for most unique comic of recent years, and for the Netflix special to converge here with Mark Normand in Philly...I can't wait
I imagine that it's hard to keep putting stuff like this out without burning too much material, but I would watch 100 hours of this kind of "fly on this wall" type stuff from Normand. I feel like a "3 Months on the Road w/ Mark Norman" documentary would be some award-winning shit. Also, I wish Normand and List would do a co-headlining tour together. That would be amazing... and would also make an epic comedy doc. Or... just keep doing what you're doing, because you're killin' it, Normand! Thank you for all of the great content/laughs. Thank you to whoever filmed it. Thank you to whoever edited it. #TUESGAY4LIFE
Mark's about to blow up in the way he so obviously deserves. I love the fact that no matter how rich he's gonna get (and he will) he won't stop being able to be worried about shit .... cool
Are you making a statement by saying “ merry christmas”? Your caps lock was stuck on, then It seemed you were unsure how everyone is spelled. But then I thought maybe you were demanding that all christmases be merry, like every single one. But surely there is gonna be some meh Christmases. Happy kwanzas!
While doing slow motion rock’em sock’em robot punches “I’m gunna try not to drink and do coke but we will see what happens.” -Mark Normand 😂😂😂 dude’s my spirit animal
