he was on the debate team in highschool, it makes sense. he’s used to debating without being biased, which is the whole point of debating. but most ppl argue instead of debate, ppl get too emotionally attached to their opinions, that they’re blinded by logic and all emotion.

Joe with Rory and Mal at the peak of their friendship is the greatest pod of all time. But ish and ice is definitely better than the more recent Rory & Mal episodes.
Nah. Whenever I watch one I realize how much I want to see them with the other. Rory and Mal have a more light hearted comedic pod and The JBP is more of a informative debate show with laughs sprinkled in, and I often feel like they need each other to balance the vibe. I honestly hope they eventually peace it up so we can get a collab with everyone together.

Ish was right but I can see Joe's point too - it really depends on how you view it. Joe is saying you should attain a level of credibility if you have shown that you can do good business, a la Master P. Ish is saying it doesn't matter how much good business you do, if you don't look and act a certain way, you cannot ascend to a certain level.

What y’all was missing from the argument is that we the culture/fans push the sound. If we wasn’t dancing in the club to people talking about killing their oops or doing drugs then that shit wouldn’t be popular. If the drill fans completely ignore the music like they would if it was some music they didn’t like then the sound wouldn’t get push. Violence/sex is always gonna sell. It’s up to the fans to accept it or not in their music. If a country singer started talking about killing their country oops the bag would still cuz their fans don’t wanna hear that shit.
