This is a test of the 2008de not the final, much like in other releases, test vers do not contain everything the release ver de will have such as New Alt attires, the full roster (yes it will be even larger) and other features I have yet to mention.
Will this be coming to Xbox 360? I love the PS3 but just can't deal with the sloppy 30fps its locked to, the 360 version is much more enjoyable at 60. Thanks for all your hard work!
I honestly play WWE Games from the past so I can recreate some of the moments and matches from the years that the games are set in. SVR 2008 is probably the hardest game to do that with, due to the fact that it’s literally missing a great chunk of the late 2006- early 2007 WWE roster. You can literally see Kevin Thorne in the in-game ECW intro which is odd, considering the game is missing Thorne, Matt Stryker, Balls Mahoney, and RVD; who were there during WrestleMania time. Chris’s absence is understandable, but no Miz, London & Kendrick, Deuce & Domino, and practically the entire tag division was extreme let down. It felt like Yuke’s never wanted to include the tag and cruiserweight divisions; sometimes going as far as to put the in-game titles on random characters. I also remember SVR 2008 not allowing the player to play Elimination Chamber matches at December to Dismember; opting to have the match take place at either WrestleMania 23, or Survivor Series 2006. Neither of which featured a Chamber match. The game was outdated by the time it released; yet it lacked most of the good things of the time period that it’s set in. I also remember Maria could only be played in Season Mode; a waste considering she has a loading screen and an in-game render.
I was so mad that London & Kendrick weren’t in the game when it came out. I was like “Then who the hell are the tag team champions?” Not even Deuce N Domino but Batista & Rey Mysterio. I was mad confused.
I’m taking part in what is considered the technical test, I don’t know how much I can say but there’s something added, not mentioned in this video, that will be amazing 😉 Scott’s thought of everything for this game.
Speaking of debuts, I noticed you didn’t add The Miz because he was one of the popular wrestlers on WWECW along with Punk, Morrison, Burke, Big Daddy V amongst others. Morrison still being Johnny Nitro was dated once the game came out and since Jericho’s model works well, how bout swapping it out for the 09 model. I appreciate the dedication you have for this project and will look forward to what you have next time.

I noticed that you replaced Ortons render from the retail version with SVR 2007 render. Was this because you didn’t like it? Also will there be other wrestlers who will have different renders?
Yeahs its not great tbh, a few renders are changed (not many but a few blurry/mushy ones)Otron, Mark Henry and Melina. Rey will also end up with a new one by release.
I can't say a few weeks before this was filmed cena and nitro both used their 07 renders then i changed them back so renders are usually figured out later, I swapped back and forth between before 2006 came out too ultimately i went with the retail renders, but this one it depends, example I have a batista that the render has more hair then the final and i may use that so again this are late choices.
I know this is going back a few months, but will we be getting Boogeyman's SVR 2009 model with the added yellow details in his face paint for this game? That's more accurate to how he looked at the time.
They really messed up the rosters back then it seemed like they finalized the rosters early on then just kept cutting the wrestlers over time before release that's an awful way of doing these

hi so my question is well as you know scott i'm a psp modder so i just finished modding svr 06 07 and modding now 08 so the problem with these three titles is that the limitations unlike svr 11 psp so basically when you gonna mod the psp series how would this effect these three titles noting that these three titles can't have a bigger roster so how is that going to effect the psp series.
This is what wwe games needs do developers realize that we don’t want to create people who was supposed to be in the game we damn sure don’t want to play with 50-60 people in the game like this could have been great if they just added more guys into the roster instead of cutting like I stg dumbass move by the developers
Hello Scott. I have two questions. 1- Rey Mysterio in HCTP uses his debut attire that also was used in Rebellion, Global Warning and in a match with Kanyon in Velocity. The problem is that the color is gold instead of red. Can you fix it? 2- Ultimo Dragon will be in SvR DE? Because he was in the company around the time the game was in development. Keep the good work

It may be my memory but I remember seeing coverage of this game on G4 in 2007 and for some reason in my mind I remember them showing pre release footage with Rey Mysterio in a white attire similar to the one in 2006 were he was fighting Randy Orton. Was that a thing or am I trippin'?
