@@evgenykondrat1769 the whole joke is essentially built on the idea that society places more value on certain groups of people based on something as arbitrary as skin color (or location). The crazy part is that for so many people, it’s just been accepted as a fact of life. Patrice actually exposed when he directed the questions to the audience. The funny part is that it’s really easy to miss the social commentary because the jokes are so silly.

Patrice O'Neal could be so savage he made the famous celebrity roaster Lisa Lampanelli cry. She's on record saying she hated him (which is a badge of honor in my book). Her entire livelihood was based on making fun of people...and he broke her down to tears.

Just seen Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias’s first show live since COVID. Excellent, a little darker than usual but funny as hell. Was crying through the whole thing because I was laughing so hard. Hope it ends up on RU-vid after his planned Netflix special. I think you guys will love it. I hope they recorded it for their own purposes because he knows how to handle hecklers.

I think one of the funniest O&A bits with Patrice is when he and Anthony argued for probably an hour about Independence Day and at the end Patrice reaches the realization that the movie he's been defending the whole time is actually a shitty movie and can barely handle it. I'm not sure if they're still around or would make sense out of context to non-listeners, but I know Cokelogic did a lot of condensed animations based on short O&A segments years ago.

I'll repeat it a lot in Patrice reaction videos... his standup is amazing, but Patrice was at his best on the Opie & Anthony radio show. Most of the radio stuff is far too long for reactions, but I certainly hope you guys listen to the hundreds of hours worth of laughter in your spare time.

Bill Burr came up in the same comedy clubs with Patrice O'Neal and Kevin Hart. Hart said that Patrice used to torture Bill after the shows cracking jokes on him. Burr even used it in his bit Black Friends, Clothes, and Harlem.

You guys have to check out his appearances on Opie and Anthony. As funny as Patrice’s stand up is, he’s even funnier just sitting around in conversation. Some of the funniest comedy I’ve ever heard are his conversations on that show. You should check out on your time a clip called Patrice talks Conspiracy Theories or something like that.. it’s amazing. He was smart as hell too. He’ll make you think.

Patrice tore up his fellow comedians if they had a bad set. In interviews, a few of them said that he made them better comics because they were afraid to get roasted if they bombed. Said they knew they were good when they made him laugh.
