Patrice O'Neal talks about that documentary, "I Am Comic."
After reading the comments I seen the recommendations to do a Patrice O'Neal video so here it is.
I'm still doing Bill Burr, not like that. This next video that I'm working on is gonna go hard!
Retired stand-up comedian Ritch Shydner has been out of the business for more than a decade, but a comeback is on the horizon. Filmmaker Jordan Brady presents a telling character study of Shydner as he prepares, practices new material and confronts his fears of being out of touch with his audience. Behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with famous comedians like Tim Allen, Jim Gaffigan, Sarah Silverman and more offer insight into what works and what doesn't.

They speak about how frustrating it was that Carlos Mencia would continue to succeed, but the fact is that this revelation killed his career not too much longer after that interview. It took a year or two from him to become completely irrelevant, but when's the last time you saw him on TV, Netflix, etc? I'd say a decade or more, for me.
