people who say Patrice falls flat a lot of times just don't appreciate the fact that his comedy is often improvised/off the cuff, which is the sign of a true funny person. Patrice was a brave comic who wasn't afraid to bomb & looking back his fans were lucky to witness a genius work on his act right on the spot. I think Patrice will become a comedy legend that future generations will appreciate much more.

I saw patrice live...holy shit. An hour set with probably 5 minutes of prepared material. He was talking to this table of two families meeting. Why would you take your boyfriend or girlfriend's patents to a Patrice show? You know you're going to get fucked with.

Sometimes Patrice says some things like, about his dog dying as a kid and he couldn't stop crying in his football uniform, and it is so open and honest that it makes me wish I could have met this guy. Just an awesome person who always stayed who he was, no matter what.

Man, there are 18 Patrice shows left. This episode starts with the coming of his Elephant in the Room comedy special. I've been listening to this diamond age of talk radio for over 10 years, but for some reason never listened to the Patrice shows. This has been a life changing ride. I'm not looking forward to the heart crushing blow that comes, and listening to Patrice blow so many opportunities beause he had to run his mouth is an unexplainable pain. Long live THE KING OF FUNNY.

I’m on my 4th or 5th trip through these (pretty sure it’s 5th) I hate when we get to talking about “Elephant in the room” and the Charlie Sheen Roast because I know we’re coming to the end. Thank you Patrice. GOD, I wish that you were still with us. I NEEDED to hear so many of the things you had to say about relationships and the animals that we all are at our core. My life will be better for hearing what you had to say. I will do my best to pass it on to my sons at the very least.

I'm a flip and even Jokoy knows Patrice is genius. He's the best and if says something good about another comedian he means it.

It's kind of like listening to BB King or a ton of other blues guys and trying to appreciate how great they are and what kind of a contribution to music they made because we're so used to hearing their style played and imitated by other people. It still sounds good, but the "holy shit" just doesn't hit as hard because we are so used to hearing it on way or another. Everyone started bending strings after BB and everyone wanted to be personal and edgy after Pryor.

Patrice may be the most AUTHENTIC comic ever.. Comedy is sacred to me and I lose my mind when comedians steal. However, I have run across great comedians that have similar bits as other great comedians and I don't think that either blatantly stole from the other. It made me realize that their is only so much to joke about, and so many ways to set a joke up. Not that it can't be done, but you have to be truly special to do so consistently. Not only is Patrice's comedy true to himself, but I don't think it could ever be done by anyone else. A lot of great comedians could do other great comedians material and no one would no the difference unless they already knew the other great had already done it. I think it comes down to the person Patrice is/was.

I think Patrice would be proud of the men that took a lot of his advice today. RED PILL, MGTOW, and all of the guys in between would absolutely make him King in the comedy world.

O’Neal is definitely the most naturally funny stand up ever , then Dave . Imagine if Dave started a podcast . It would be the most viewed cause he can make anything funny. Patrice can listen to you make something funny , then come in with a whole different view of the same topic and make it even funnier .. there will never be another Patrice . One of a kind
@jangoescoricky9393

Dave is a lot faker than Patrice ever was. Dave left comedy because of fake reasons and went into hiding when he could have been making movies and classics that changed the game. Key and Peele basically were the band aid for some slightly ok comedy during that time. Chappelle didn't do specials during that era and was a recluse during the Obama era (very convenient). He only reared his head around the next presidency and started doing specials and pandering politically in corny ways. He is still funny for sure, but calling other comedians racist and then doing videos bragging about meeting political elites is corny and lame. He plays the game when convenient and didn't follow up Chappelle's Show because he knew he couldn't top the material and gave people a cop out response. He arguably created a vacuum for political correctness and is partly to blame for the current crop of bad podcast comedians that are career cowards that lack any decent comedy.

Opie is mad at Patrice in the beginning because Opie said P’s woman was tweeting like crazy on his account and P didn’t want people to know that it’s not him, so Opie burps over him several times as revenge.
