This guy carried the 9th worst statistical defence in nfl history to the afc championship game and lost cause Dee Ford Lind up offside. Let that sink in for a second.
Conner Alff when the defense finally did something dee ford lines up offsides he far from the ball and can clearly see where the ball is so if it weren’t for that we would be playing in the Super Bowl
Paul Pierce he has the potential to be the GOAT football player. He can do more than Brady ever could do. Mahomes is definitely better than Brady as of now
@@darmor85 OR a coin flip. Heap praise on the running game and defence as well. The patriots ran wild. KC had 30 rush yards the whole game. Their lines were dominated on both sides. Was definitely not just TB and his brutal goal line pick.
you need to go watch Aaron Rodgers highlights because while Mahomes is impressive what he is doing is stuff that Rodgers has done many times. PS im not sure he can do some of the things Rodgers has done, like that back of the end zone pass that he made against the chiefs and a play he had against the Bears in his highlight real.
@@n1ght_ch3f84 this didn't even show all of mahomes TDS and throws 😂😂😂 mahomes would have 20+ if they shows all his actual good ones so don't compare him to mahomes
That was such a magical first year as a starter . So many bombs, that 4th down play to Hill against the Ravens , the crowd held their breath as the ball flew in the air before Hill snagged it! 3 Super Bowl rings later and we have a absolute dynasty ! Go big Red!
I've been a fan my entire life - through thick and thin, the Chiefs were my team. There's always been a lot to love, but I get it, this team is something else. Welcome aboard 🙂
*The greatest performance Only two other QBs all time had the same level of production Mahomes did in 2018, and Manning and Brady were NFL vets when they did it
Can't be the best season ever if it doesn't end in a Lombardi but I'll give you Dan. He was the first that came to my mind until I considered how its not all about stats. Mahomes drafted to the Browns would elevate them but they still wouldn't win a SB. @@jeffcunningham0389
@@programking655 on no planet is 2011 rodgers equivalent to 2018 mahomes so stop that nonsense. They got bounced immediately in the playoffs as well lmfao
@@SycoticForeverNeverAF You’re out of your mind if you think 2018 Mahomes is anywhere near as good as 2011 Rodgers was. 2004 Manning and 1984 Marino were also both definitely better than 2018 Mahomes.
ProgramKing, you’re a clown. Mahomes literally there for 5K and 50 in a single season. There’s only one other QB to do that, and none of the quarterbacks you named are the other guy. Shut up lol
I'm watching this highlight reel today after the superbowl won by chiefs where Mahomes carried them on his back in the 4th quarter!!! And I'm watching this from germany who doesn't even know much about NFL but this guy has peaked my interest for this sport!
Time will tell the story of his career and place in league history. That said, last year was the most ridiculous display of vision and arm talent I have ever seen. Absolutely stupid. Never seen anything like it.
navanater123 Rogers is not better in “every way”. Right now Mahomes is far better. But for their career so far yes Rogers is better. Mahomes throws on the run far better and far more accurately than Aaron Rogers.
Wow!!!! His first season and this is sick as f**k!!!!! I love how you go from watching his college highlights to watching his first full season, it's literally a mirror image of each other. By far my favorite player in the NFL today. The future of the NFL once the GOAT retires. #MahomesII
One of the most pound for pound talented QBs I’ve ever seen and I’m 40 years old. I’m not even a chiefs fan but I’m a fan of him. I’m just glad he’s not in my teams division. As long as he stays healthy I bet at least 2 Super Bowls and 3 to 4 MVPs in his future. He already has 1 MVP.
I'm a Raiders fan, but this guy right here Has TRUE TALENT. I'm a Fan of this guy. He's going to be one of the TOP rated QB's in the league for years to come.
It's hard to believe that this man threw 50 TOUCHDOWNS in his first year as a starter. Even 30 would be insane for a first year starter. Such an insane experience watching this year.
Even though they didnt make it to the super bowl that year, 2018 will always be the most exciting season as a Chiefs fan in the Mahomes era. There was no expectations yet, we would be happy if our new guy could sustain what Alex Smith was doing. We'd be happy if we made the playoffs and god forbid win a playoff game, but week after week watching this guy be the star of the highlight reel, Chiefs fans were like, is this really happening?! Is this guy really OUR QB?!?! It felt like a dream. We were just in awe... I still feel this way, but 2018 was just special.
11:59 is play is nothing short of incredible. This is an instant classic play that will be replayed for years. The stadium is so quiet, You can hear the friction from the ball being thrown. And as the ball is being caught. Then the stadium erupts. Insane play.
Coming back to watch this after witnessing him win two Superbowls and currently slated to play this Sunday in his 4th SuperBowl is just mind shattering bro lol truly one of a kind
9 minutes into this video, I thought that the video must almost be over because of how many insane highlights ive seen. When I saw it was half way. I dropped my phone. This guy is incredible. 😳
Only time I don’t want Mahomes to win is when they’re playing my Seahawks. Awesome QB and really just an awesome offense. Hope you guys get the AFC title next year...
@@David-hd4et did you do it on 3rd and 5, losing on the road at a division rival, week 4 of your 1st year starting, on Monday Night Football, with Von Miller literally on your heels, and convert the first down? Didn't think so.
This is the first time I've watched Mahomes. I saw a few highlights during the season last year, but not much. As a Browns fan, I love what Baker did (and will do) for Cleveland, but I can totally see why Mahomes was the MVP. Very impressive! His weapons were a huge part of that as well. Kelce, Hunt & Hill... Wow!
yo I'm a dyed in the wool Patriots fan, and even I hope that Mahomes has a monster career. I hope he gets several rings. this dude is an awesome football player
That ball he throws is clocked at 60 miles per hour the ball actually disappears it's moving so fast no wonder he completes the path cuz only the person it's intended for knows it's coming what a mind-blowing quarterback a real pleasure to watch I hope he's having as much fun as he's making the game for me to watch. God bless him and stay close that he protects them marvelous gift that is just a thrill to see.
Just unbelievable natural talent. Very humble as well. I wanted Drew to finally get an MVP, but it would be a robbery if this man didn't get it. (Titans fan)
We’ve never seen a QB talent like Mahomes, the Arm Strength, creativity, scrambling. Nowadays QB’s are always tryin to have perfect mechanics and be perfect, but if you look at Mahomes (the MVP) he’s just a player finding a way to make a play and that’s what separates him
The touchdown pass (and catch) at 7:11 was my favorite of the whole season. Kelsey could not have been defended any better. Perfect pass, perfect catch.
Can I get to 1,000,000 Subscribers for nothin? ye i agree, he’d be an even bigger threat with great defense, not that he needs it cause this video proves it. gl to you and your team
@@ruthadiscipleofjesuschrist1788 hey thanks man/ma'am for being Noble instead of saying that the Chiefs would get their ass kicked by the patriots you instead said good luck 😎 I wish there was more people like you
Can I get to 1,000,000 Subscribers for nothin? oh ofc ofc, i myself can’t stand when ppl put down other teams to feel superior, it don’t ever be that serious ya know? it’s sad really, but anyways see you around g, God bless
Man, this team belonged in the superbowl that year. They were about to win the AFC, 28-24, on an interception, but a chiefs defender was lined up offsides pre-snap, and that screwed us from seeing an exciting superbowl.
@@SycoticForeverNeverAF thing is, he almost DID carry them all the way, on his first full year as starter, against Tom Brady..., and got within very short spitting distance of a ring every year since then...
When a player throws 5000 plus yards and 50 touchdowns in a season. He should automatically be the number 1 ranked player in the season. It's BS, that he was ranked 4th.
