Idk why Brady’s even mentioned when he’s had a career. Mahomes is still playing and has only been in the league 7 seasons…7 rings in 22 years is at the top of the mountain for sure, but if they win again for the three peat next year, the only discussion is it’s only a matter of time.
Brady is mentioned because that's the only person you can compare Mahomes to. He's proved he's far beyond his competition. Mahomes career has to be done to fully compare but he's the only one playing that has a shot at being in the same realm as Brady.

The losing finals argument is such a dumb argument. So Jordan gets credit for 6-0 finals. But it would have been better if he beat the Pistons twice in Conf Finals and then lost in finals. Meaning he had a better year those years. 6-2 is much better than 6-0. 6-0 just means Jordan failed even earlier in playoffs, since when do we get credit for losing even earlier towards your goal. Imagine how much credit they would give Jordan if he missed playoffs instead of making playoffs:)

No one is arguing longevity and greatness. The narrative is regarding, talent and trajectory, based on Pat's first 6 years as a starter - His stats and accolades are peerless.
