HOF head coach, DC is regarded as a top coordinator who could easily be a head coach in the NFL, HOF TE, young explosive RB, respectable WR group, an above average O line, top 3 defense and excellent place kicker. As much as I try to praise Mahomes as the goat because of the talent that surrounds him, he still gets the job done and wins the games he is expected to. He had a poor performance last year statistically but he acknowledged the teams strength on defense and he did not turn the ball over and kept the team in good position to win. He doesn’t make the bonehead plays that hands the ball to the opponent and putting the defense in a bad spot on the field. I recall watching a large majority in media that had called the Chiefs season was already over with a few games remaining. I knew that if the Chiefs were able to get a playoff spot, they would be a challenging team for any opponent. If they make it to the dance, they always have a damn chance. I won’t be betting against Mahomes for the foreseeable future. Much like the same respect and acknowledgement that Brady received when the Pats reached the playoffs.
