Yeeeeessssssss. I love you stranger sooo much. He nailed Under Pressure by Queen so hard even if he did have help you don’t know it that’s for damn sure. Nailed it. Live. While playing the Piano.
This man has some insane talent and I'm glad to see that some people recognize it; Patrick Stump is able to write passionate soulful music in every genre he writes in whether it be punk, pop punk, alternative or soul, etc.. I hope that one day Patrick will be viewed by all of society the way Nicki Minaj seems to be viewed now, as an idol. The only difference is Patrick possess true musical talent that is evident by the fact that regardless of your music preference, any person can detect the intensity of his work, if not, they can at least hear that his voice (which is only his most impressive musical ability, of which he posses many) is simply on point. Case closed
+justin williams I can't remember where for the life of me (probably Twitter), but he has said that it's highly possible that he will tour Soul Punk/release more solo music in the future.
Oh no. No no no. He is terrible live. Haven’t you seen his failed attempt to Cover QUEEN’s Under Pressure Live?! Don’t look that one up if you want to hear what this beautiful little nerd can NOT pull off like he tried to with Whitney’s Dance with Somebody or Michael Jackson’s Beat it. Absolutely a butcher. Just out here Killin songs ever since he stopped being Fat. Is his band even still around? The Fall Out Boys haven’t had a hit since “I chimed in!” At the Discotek. For real. You all should get better music. Like way better than… I love you. I love all you guys showing love. 🫶🏼
@@sergioabennett do you know what you’re talking about? “I chimed in!” Isn’t even a song title 1, 2 that’s a panic at the disco song, 3 he’s had four number one albums with fall out boy. I want to know what music you listen to since you decided to hate for no reason lmfao. Him being fat had nothing absolutely nothing to do with his songwriting career. And obviously those covers aren’t terrible at all if they’ve had wide success. Next time you try to talk about something you clearly know nothing about. Do some research :)
For all the people mesmerized by the singing of the guitar solo, if you listen to his cover of Life on Mars, he also sings the guitar solo there :) it's great (you should probably listen to the original first, just to get a feel of the song)
I remember first seeing this cover in my recommendations and I freakes out because I love David Bowie and I love patrick and thiw cover had surprised me so much It was so much better than I had expected to be quite honest
Oh my god he even sings the guitar solo he's so adorable my talented talented bunny child ugh. But on a serious note Soul Punk needs WAY more recognition. Its an incredible album/display of Patrick's musical talent and it's far FAR too underrated
+Mia H I know :< it breaks my heart. He deserved so much more love than what he got during that era, just because it didn't sound like FOB his own "fans" bought tickets to shows just to bash him. It's not far, Patrick Stump, even as a single entity outside of FOB, is too talented for his own good.
WHO ARE THE THREE PEOLE WHO DISLIKED THIS. I WILL FIND YOU. PATRICK SINGS LIKE AN ANGEL. YOU SIMPLY CANNOT PUT A THUMBS DOWN ON THIS. sorry for screaming.😅
When i first heard this awhile ago i fell in love i love this version i remember everytime when i came home or if i was cleaning up i had to play this song
absolutely breathtaking. I don't understand how he ever gets hate at all. this man is an inspiration, and if you dont like this, you dont know what good music truly is. patrick stump is a respectable, honest talent. fuck the hate.
Everyone keep in mind he wasn't the orignal vocals of Fall Out Boy....he was fine before F.O.B and he'll continue to be fine after...BETTER than fine...FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC.
10 years went by and yet, Soul Punk remains one of the best produced music albums of all time, from the lyricism down to the musical arrangements. Patrick Stump, ladies and gentlemen
I honestly love both acoustic and original versions of every song he did in the Undefined session. But, in most cases I prefer the acoustic versions and I wish they available for purchase on like, iTunes or something.
He's come so far from his awesome punk roots....but i can't deny that soulful R&B makes my heart melt. And I'm a straight male.....apparently, not anymore. Get it, stump. i love FOB, but I want Soul Punk Vol. 2.
That sent way way way too much shiver down my spine.... OOPS I think I'm having a seizure attack right now. lsakjdlkasjdlasjd man, P. Stump is so awesome.
