In my oppinion highend mascara doesn't dry out as fast as drug store. I've been trying to pan a Lancome, Marc Jacobs and Pat Mcgrath mascara for what feels like FOREVER. I would love to see a mascara video!!

I always do my upper lash first to put the most product or risky clumps on longer lashes, then do both bottom lashes before dipping back in. Interesting to see it done bottom lash first!

I absolutely prefer mascara reviews from someone that doesn't have perfect, long, lush and full lashes. Those people could wear any mascara and have their lashes look nice. We need to see people without perfect lashes because that's what is more relatable to a good many of us 😄 Also, my lashes WILL NOT hold a curl AT ALL unless I use waterproof mascara so I do unfortunately relate to you with that 😪

Omggg with my short and sparse lashes only givenchy volume disturbia mascara makes my lashes look fuller longer and separated. I love it it does not flake and smudge like the toofaced and hourglass.

I hope Parick Ta (as well as Mario) come to EU to an official retailer like Douglas or Sephora! I am very skeptical about brands created by singers or celebrities, preferring always those created by make up artists :)

i have similar lashes, really straight and the only not waterproof mascara that really holds the curl is the “extended play perm me up lash” from mac… the rare beauty gives me curl if I don’t use a lash curler, (weird I know…) but it works better… :)

I bought the Rare beauty one and I am loving it a lot! But with this comparison I agree that the Patrick Ta looks better in your lashes

Hi Morgan! Thank you for the video. I prefer the Rare Beauty side but everybody has a « best » side so that could be a factor. There are very few possible variations for mascara, in terms of wand design, brush design, and even formula. With respect to formula, there must very strict guidelines to ensure that none of the chemicals or pigments can damage the eyes, lashes or skin. It’s the combination of preferred brush size and type, preferred wand length and favorite formula that makes one’s favorite - brands are constantly playing with designs to create a mascara that will be the favorite for a majority of consumers. I would love to know if you have a favorite mascara and if so, what brand is it and what makes it special.

It's the curse of the Asian blood - short, stick-straight lashes that refuse to hold a curl. :) I have pretty much given up on mascaras.

Have you tried Maybelline sky high? It's the only one that holds curl on my sparse lashes

The Patrick ta looked clumpy too though. The multiple coats on the bottom lashes is unneccessary though. No one puts 3 coats on the bottom lashes lol

Neither of these mascaras are sold in the UK, I think the Patrick Ta one is available through Cult Beauty though. I really, really wanted you to zoom in so that I could get a closer look at the payoff of each mascara - from a distance it looks like Patrick Ta is the winner. I appreciate this vid Morgan, I too have short lashes 💕💕

I do that all the time, mix two different mascaras I know work well for my lashes and that's been my way to do it for years now.

Hi Morgan, loved your video, you're always so full of energy, honest, love your video's, and you look amazing again!!!👍🤩🤩🤩🤩 For sure the Patrick Ta one is looking so much more natural and beautiful on you, i think, like lots of mascara's, the other one from Rare Beauty gets a clumpy mess indeed, but that is only my opinion. I have a love/hate relationship with mascara's Morgan, it makes or breaks the makeup look. The ones i trust the most are from Lancome and Ilia. From Lancome, i love the Doll Eyes still the most. My lashes are like yours, or maybe a little bit shorter, but i don't want them to be ruined by "specialists" for lash extensions, heard so many horror stories about that, false lashes is not my thing, maybe, being 51 now, i'll ever find a some that look VERY natural, tried several more heavy lash serums like Revitalash, my eyes were dry and hurting 24/7, so now i have a very soft lash product from Shisheido, it's not a miracle, not at all, but my lashes look at least a bit healthier and stronger, and it's the first product that does not hurt my eyes. People that risk so much, even that their eye colour changes, i don't get it. So i stick to the Shisheido, can also used on brows by the way. But when it comes to brows i'm very lazy, when i tweeze to much i use a bit Revitabrow in the evening and when applying makeup some TF Fiber brow stuff, that is all. Mascara, when i use lots of eyeshadow and liner, i skip it now and than, and than i love the makeup cleaning moment: 2 cleaning wipes for eyes and face, ready!😍 But of course i still love mascara!!! And loved the video, thanks and have an amazing day!!!!🖐😘😘😘😘

I'm my humble opinion the rare beauty is way to clumpy and doesn't do much.if you haven't tried it yet,try the gucci mascara, I love it, for length and volume!

I like the Patrick Ta side. The Rare Beauty side looks too clumpy. That being said, one side could be better than the other because of the eye itself. My right eye is always better than my left because it is my dominant hand.
