The Chicago Bulls and Patrick Williams have agreed to a 5 yr/$90M contract extension that will keep Williams in Chicago for the foreseeable future. He is known for his amazing defensive abilities, being great at deflections and steals along with being a rim protector guarding against the best forwards and guards in the NBA. Any team would be excited to have someone like that, as defense is especially important in a game where it’s all about offense. Plus with the Bulls most likely heading to a rebuild (likely from the Josh Giddey trade), Williams has a chance to be a consistent starter and improve on his offensive game, to be a key part of the Bulls’ future.
