This product has been discontinued and if you find someone selling it, it is an outrageous price! My wife helped find a comparable replacement from a company called Holloway.
This is a fantastic video! Thank you for doing this. Countless reviews I've heard "use floor polish" on loose figures but never have they explained what kind of floor polish or how to use it, but you did and you explained how to with various joints and connections. Thumbs way up! 👍👍👍
I'm really glad you finally made this video. Every time you mentioned, or other youtubers mentioned, you'd have to put some floor polish on a figure to tighten it up I always immediately thought, "But hoooooowwwww?!?!?!?!" I have quite a few guys that are ready to get this treatment now. Thanks for this.
Dude, seriously, thank you for this. I have figures with loose joints that are on pins, and I thought I might have to take them out, which would've been annoying because I don't have the tools for that lol.
Great vid! For us across the pond that are unable to get this specific brand - what kind of floor polish is it? Chemically I mean, what's the 'star ingredient'? What am I looking for at the store (label)? Also how do you usually fix tabs that wore out and won't hold any longer?
I couldn't find the Pledge and was afraid to try a different brand so I bought the Kiki. I honestly think Kiki is just floor polish or watered down Elmer's glue.
Have you tried this with the store brand, like Great value, my core class slug has loose ball joints. Or would you suggest going with the name brand you showed off?
im late, but i have have a quick question: does it work on metal-on-plastic wear? I may use this tutorial on a Gobot i own, (specifically zig zag) since the head is extremely loose
Just added the floor polish to my ultra magnus, studio series Optimus primal, Noah Diaz, core class arcee blackout and legacy bludgeon , now just gonna wait tomorrow
Having stumbled upon this, does anyone know what the active thing in the floor polish that increases the friction? Like uh, what is actually solidifying that is allowing the joints to beocme tighter and all that jazz.
I always hate when reviewers are like "man this figure isn't good because its loose right out of the packaging" in my head I'm just screaming "just use floor polish!!"
Would the Floor Polish word for tabs that are too loose to hold together properly? thinking of trying it on a couple transformers that have a couple QC issues.
I gotta get me something like this to fix a few issues. Not being in America can make it a bit harder to find similar products, and where to buy the things from.
Great, but how do you apply it to a figure like hunt for the decepticons seaspray? His leg swivel and groin along with the metal rods he has all over have been very loose recently so does anyone have a suggestion for that?
Bought a third party shockwave whose hips were lose. Used Quickshine and it worked though I didn't think to let it sit for like twelve hours... I was wondering why it didn't seem to work but I didn't let it set lol.
Thanks! Just got generations kup and a thrilling thirty nightbeat, the head is really loose on kup and the knee on nightbeat is too loose for him to even stand
So… looked into this and the Pledge product is discontinued. You can still get it… from ppl selling it at $60+ per bottle My wife found a comparable product with Holloway House and, funny enough, there was a positive testimonial from a hobbyist! Still good info!
$130.00!!!!! Holy crap!!! My bottle's almost full, may put it in a Safety Deposit Box. The bottle says, "Multi-Surface Finish, Shine, Protect, & Restore." Look for that.
