It's not like they're significant majority Coloureds are only 42% and Africans are 39%. Only 4% difference, bare in mind most African people in Western Cape ain't born there they go there as adults for work and school, while coloureds are born there. Meaning there's a possibility of equal balance amongst adult population between coloureds and Africans

It will not change on the 29th of May because coloureds themselves are confused as to whether they are black or white ! I have known coloreds who embrace their blackness and I also have know coloreds especially in the western cape who even would straighten their curly hair so that they can assimilate to whiteness! As an indian i always say our voice and coloured are never heard and always in the middle. It's only between black and white. I got told at work I can't get a post cos I'm Indian and it going to a black. But when they couldn't find a black person they gave it to a white.
