There's a lot of BS'ing, but Connor isn't wrong, not that he's a future HOFer (I'm assuming that's hyperbole), but that Jones will be better next year. Jones was a consensus 1st round pick, so the talent is there. And he had a great rookie season, made the Pro-Bowl, came in 2nd in voting for Offensive Rookie of the Year. And he was successful that season even tho he didn't have a lot of weapons around him. That group of starters NE had w/ Jones his rookie year has a combined 1 Pro-Bowl appearance between them; RT Trent Brown (2019). But at least Jones had a real OC in McDaniels & a real QB coach in Jedd Fisch. Then you have his 2nd year, & the offense is a joke. Belichick is a defensive coach, his de facto OC, Patricia, had never coached offense before, having spent his entire coaching career coaching defense (minus his 3 seasons a HC), & his QB coach, Judge, had never been a QB coach before, having spent his entire coaching career coaching special teams (minus his 2 seasons as a HC). The coaches design the offense & call the plays, & if they don't know what they're doing, then the offense is going to look bad, esp. when you have a 2nd year QB & otherwise no elite weapons. I'm not a Pats fan, so I have no skin in the game, but I would bet that the mere fact that Pats now have a OC who knows what he's doing is going to make the offense look much better next season. That, plus the Pats standard above-average-to-great defense, & they'll be a much improved team. They could be a good a sleeper pick to make the Wild Card.

I love the segment, but Connor had a few comparisons incorrect. The one that stood out most for me was the one with Josh Allen and saying he got to sit behind Ryan Fitzpatrick his rookie year. Allen didnt sit his 1st year although that was intially gonna be the plan. Nathan Peterman got the 1st start before the team decided to go with Allen from Game 2 to the rest of the season. Fitzpatrick was 6 years removed from his last time playing for the Bills in 2012 (Allen rookie season was in 2018)

Never thought Conner could make that so entertaining. Damn, impressive!
