What a rebel ! ... The sign says "Fly Quietly" ... Gangsta plane ! ... 😂

Ronald Kristijanto Exactly ;) Aviation has no room for “quiet”.

Residents around that airport are notorious complainers too. Pleasantly surprised that bird was cleared to operate there.

Thanks for the video of our departure! The noise-abatement procedure is always a fun one for us!

No problem! Noise-abatement procedures yield some pretty exciting climb outs for spotters.

Nice capture!! I had the pleasure of riding in one in the late 70's. Looks like a tank but the ride was anything but.....

Thanks! Must have been a real thrill to experience a ride on a sabreliner.

Nice juxtaposition of a proper jet aircraft and a 'fly quietly' curfew sign. Heh. Thanks for the upload!

Thanks for watching! Good luck to anything with a jet engine to "fly quietly" haha. Classic turbojets always keeping things real :)

Thats Frys old Sabreliner; what did they upgrade to ? Sorry the old Lears and Sabres are all going away. I remember a fun trip in a 24 Lear with climb out at 8000 fpm in that little pocket rocket👍

Nice video. Not sure when you took this but this plane is now owned by the Patriots Jet Team Foundation, along with N39CB, Fry's other old Sabre. Fry's now owns 654YS

I do stand corrected. Thanks for the heads up on the new owner. Seems not that long ago that Fry's still had 607CF however I do see where the "Frys.com" has been removed. Thanks for watching!

And only a pinch of these turbojets left flying it seems.

I reckon it’ll give Gulfstream IIs and Learjet 25s a run for their money in terms of noise.
@LoveJT8D
@LoveJT8D 5 лет назад
Absolutely. I think the SPEY's on the old Gulfstreams give more thunder though. This Sabreliner has more of a "shredding" sound.

Apparently turbojets did also have the buzz of turbofans, listen at 0:58 for it!

It surprises me that BUR would allow this to takeoff. I thought Bob Hope banned Stage II noise aircraft in like the early 2000s. They kicked out the ZeroG 727-200 from doing ops in 2012 because it was too loud ,and that was hush kitted as well. So the thing is ,how is this allowed to fly in and out of BUR? This isn’t owned by the military, it just has a military livery.
@LoveJT8D
@LoveJT8D 5 лет назад
Duderocks5539 I’m not sure how the departure was allowed but as far as I know they have to basically avoid reaching the decibel sensors around the airport. If there’s any time loud smokey aircraft are able to take off at BUR, then bring it on 😎
@Duderocks5539
@Duderocks5539 5 лет назад
+LoveJT8D That’s crazy. So apparently probably when it did that steep takeoff ,it must’ve avoided the gay sensors. But that’s surprising since apparently the ZeroG 727 got detected by the sensors ,and it has hush kits on it! And I’m pretty sure my friends dad is going to buy a Lear 24 ,but if he does ,I don’t know what airport he would keep it at ,and what airport will allow him to do ops in and out of. The closest airport they love to is Santa Monica, but good luck with that ,I don’t even think Santa Monica even allows Stage II aircraft that have Stage III hush kits. And Van Nuys doesn’t allow un hushed Stage II aircraft anymore, only Stage II aircraft that have been fitted with a hush kit. So my friends dad is probably going to have to buy one that has a hush kit on it ,since all the airports near by won’t allow un hushed Stage II noise aircraft unless they are military or government operated.

Its classification is EXPERIMENTAL and its category is EXHIBITION. As such, it can fly while making lots of noise!

Are Sabreliners louder than Learjet 24s? I would think because the P&W JT12s are larger engines.
@LoveJT8D
@LoveJT8D 7 лет назад
Duderocks5539 I can't say for sure, but because the Learjet 24 and the saberliner both have turbo jet engines I would say they are almost equally as loud. The only thing that might make a slight difference are hushkits.
@Duderocks5539
@Duderocks5539 7 лет назад
+LoveJT8D Oh ok ,also are Gulfstream IIIs louder than the Sabreliner and Lear 24 even with hushkits?
@LoveJT8D
@LoveJT8D 7 лет назад
Duderocks5539 Depends on your definition of loud. The GIII has more bass/thunder while the Sabre/Lear is more shrill with a shredding sound. Both can pierce the ears pretty good.

Fly quietly for the Saberliner means don't even start it.
