What a woman, singer, human. Should have been crowned the queen of American Music at some point in her life. She'll always be royalty to me.

Best female vocalist of all time. A real natural talent. Others were also good but they could only come in second.

She sings like she is singing to you personally. That endears her to you. She's like a friend you're never met.

Truly a lady ahead of her time and from what I've heard and read...she would welcome you with open arms and say....come on in and sit right down and make yourself at home! Love her and know she was a heck of a wonderful gal!

She had a nice voice, but seemed very much a product of her Era, IMO.

First time I heard this song was in the made for TV movie titled "Patsy & Loretta." I loved seeing Patsy in this movie and finally the co-star. I'm glad that Loretta Lynn has introduced the wonderful music of Patsy Cline to many generations.

I think it’s a shame when they had this song being sung in the opening of the Lifetime movie Loretta & Patsy, that they omitted the last verse of the song about judgement day in the movie! I had to come over here and listen and sure enough they omitted that verse

"Ozark Jubilee" footage intercut with unrelated footage of street scenes and the fiddle player from her 1963 "San Antonio Rose" clip. With dubbed audio of the studio recording. Better'n nuttin' I guess............

@joewhite5311

the Ozark Jubilee in Springfield, Mo. Probably filmed in 1956, though I'm not sure. The Ozark Jubilee ended in 1960 so it was before then.
