being Thailand, I would have big questions about the ability of the infrastructure to support so many new condos. Water utility? Sewage? Electric generation? And crucially, traffic flow and capacity given that Pats and Jomtien are a perpetual traffic jam already. I suspect that the rule of thumb is build first and then worry about the rest later.
I have been living in Jomtien for over 3 months. There must be about 5 condos to every person! Yet they are still building more! As PJ would say its crazy!😮
I have a place in Rimhad building A3... They removed the road there around 2 years ago to replace the drainage down all the way from Thepprasit rd, and used it as a dumping ground for all the landfill for all of the rest of the drainage works in the area... Prior to that it was all trees there, and some 20 years ago before 2nd road went through they apparently kept elephants there!... A temporary dirt road runs through the middle now, a little further from the Rimhad buildings and comes out near the bunjee jupmt/small water park... Ill be glad once the road is refinshed - at least the tiny balcony isnt too much to clean but the dirt/dust means no use of the balconies anyway!... Convenient spot though...
