I really hope that i can get to come back to thailand again at some point this year ... i hope the covid situation there improves.. then again it could be a whole lot worse .. India has 400,000 new cases every single day .. Tommy ..You must feel like you are in Groundhog day.. hard to believe that pattaya is back in lockdown !.. I cant believe my eyes when i see how empty the beach and beach road is .. How do people there manage to survive with no tourists ?
7-11s closed once when I was there. 2010? The protests, threats the military was coming down the way. Bars and gogos closed immediately about 7 PM. Never saw Thais so scared. 7 11s closed although some stayed open after taping news papers up on all the glass
Also yesterday 3 May there were 4 cases of Covid positive people in two locations on Soi 6. Did you notice tgat the Southern Coffee shop that is always open was closed? So anyone been in there for coffee or a drink lately should go get checked or be on alert.
I was more concern about my country letting people go abroad by the end of the year. Sadly it seems that the wait will be longer due to Thailand restrictions.. and this is not good

Here in Germany we have been in the same lock down with going out ban from 10 till five since last december i hope this may change with the said mass vacc for every body
