Thank you for this tutorial. It was very clear and logical. I have been deciding which app to get and this tutorial has swung it for pattern keeper. Some of the other videos have quite confused me. Being older I was concerned about computer use but you have made this sound so easy and I love that you see your final picture emerging.
@@taunismausi You have to change the search and then the thread symbol will be shown. Maybe I could add it in the long-press menu so that you just long press on a stitch to see the thread number?
@@PatternKeeperthx for your fast answer. I was trying to find a tutorial about it but I had no lucky 😅 I'm new in this parking method. I really love your app. long press on the parking stitch sounds really intuitive.
Excellent video for Pattern Keeper. Your presentation is very clear. Maybe a new tutorial to explain how new options for double tapping, etc., would be very helpful for new users.
This was so helpful. Thank you so much. I just bought a tablet yesterday and today I bought Pattern Keeper. I watched your video, marked up my colourings from my paper copy on to PK and I'll be ready to go when I get home from work today. Can't wait.
This says nothing about saving progress or exporting progress or how to import progress and how to start again...I lost all my progress because no tutorial covered this very important step.
Nice job ..... you must be a teacher! So easy to follow along with you.....very precise and quick! Thank you for taking the time to explain this game changing app.
Thank you for this tutorial, it definitely showed me a few features I wasn’t aware of! I have been looking for a way to change the aspect to landscape mode within pattern keeper. Is there any way to do that? ( my tablet cover keeps it propped up nicely that way ) otherwise, i’m looking for things to put under it awkwardly. Thank you!
Hi. Thx for the video. very helpful. Just getting ready to begin my first multiple page pattern designed by Jan Hicks. I’ve asked several folks as well as Jan this question. Pattern Keeper didn’t pull in the correct “vertical” center of her pattern. I printed off her pattern and did the calculations as I always start in the center. PK did pull in the correct horizontal center. Has this happened to you or have you heard of it? I even emailed the developer and she still hasn’t answered. Any help would be welcomed. Thx much.
Very nice been wanting to learn and try my kindle. Question is this the same for small patterns not cull designs. I really no nothing about this new way for patterns 😊
Excellent video, thank you! Does the app work this exact same way if you scan in a picture of a printed pattern, or do you have to purchase specially formatted digital charts?
Great tutorial! I'm a long time stitcher but always used paper patterns, but I recently ordered a HAED without the large print and having such a hard time. I bought a 10" tablet JUST for this program. Now to figure out how to convert whole pages to highlighted without doing each individual color symbol lol! Thank you!!!
Congratulations! I love HAED. But the large charts can be daunting. Do you grid your fabric before stitching? It helped me tremendously. You got this! I'd love to see your progress, feel free to join my Facebook group page. Link in the video description. 😁
@@beautifullymade2304 I started mini 'Wedding Kiss' (from Outlander) last month and according to the app, I'm almost 3% complete lol! I also started mini Mewnicorn for a break from the DARK colors from the Outlander's super darkness. I don't grid the entire piece, but I do grid the first page's bottom to keep track of the beginning stitches. Gridding actually makes me lose count, weird I know! I've done other large full coverage pieces before but never HAED, but I will definitely join your group and show updates. Thank you for your help; it was really easy to follow and set up :-)
Thank you very much! That was my goal. When I switched to PK I failed to find a tutorial that was to the point and comprehensive. So I made my own! I'm glad you found it helpful. Please subscribe, I'll be posting more videos related to cross stitching soon.
I know that some designers are not supported on the PK app. I would reach out the the PK company for technical issues. They have a Facebook page which is super helpful. facebook.com/groups/363515547861846/?ref=share
