Patti La Pone is absolutely amazing. She is always fully believable as the character she is playing. I remember seeing her in the Original London Production of Sunset Boulevard. She was phenomenal. She was Norma Desmond. I never understood Lloyd Webber replacing her with Glenn Close when the show opened on Broadway. I love Glenn Close, she’s an amazing actress. But vocally she can’t compare to Patti. Patti is absolutely amazing and still has the voice even now. Impossible to believe she is 74. She’s still top of her game.Thanks so much for uploading this.
