Naw, Both Patti and Desiree would have sung every last one of them Divas under the table. Perhaps if Mariah had used her whistle register, but no, Desiree can do that too and Patti's chest voice does just about the same, her clarity and tone is so pure Desiree can not drown her out euther.
Desiree Coleman was a protege of Gerald LeVert and Patti LaBelle. She and Debelah Morgan had all the ingredients for superstardom. And this performance proves it. It was soulful and her whistle notes were on point. The rest of the performance was a lot to take in aurally. I hope she is still performing. If I had serious loot, people like her would be on my record label.
