No mention that it was a British game show before, typical of American remakes, not giving credit for the original version. Although Patton Oswalt seems to be a good host for this show
The trick is that you are fooled into trying to continue a series, not the logic of the statements. A mathematician gets fooled, a coder gets it... ;-P
