the books and the movie are crazy, you can see how paul atreides turns into the lisan al gaib, and becomes arrogant and power hungry. its absolutely insane
he never becomes arrogant and power hungry. Thats what he wants people to think, he acts that way because of the Golden Path. The only way forward. Think, Eren Jaeger from Attack on Titan if youve seen it.
@@hiro3667he’s not being arrogant, he’s being logical, if he threatens the spice fields with nukes the spacing guild will have no spice, stopping all space travel, if that won’t deter the other houses, he’s got the entirety of the fremen on his side, and they’re essentially the desert version of the catachan jungle fighters compared to the rest of the soldiers in the wider imperium
Even 10 thousand years later nuclear bombs are a threat for the Emperor. (Before you comment I know it's not about the planet, but the spice, and I know that when Frank Herbert lived atomic bombs were the ones blamed for a possible doomsday.
I just finished reading the book and already a couple pages in Dune Messiah but after I rewatched Dune and Dune Part Two *very good films especially Part Two* they did leave out a lot of important things and changed certain things. But also they did add and change things that was somewhat better in the film then in the book so that was cool. But the book is superior to the film *yes I have become that guy* 😂
@@enigma_aexp hey there great work! i was thinking of the middle section with the golden/red/white letters with the fadeout and drop shadow effect. is it maybe available as template on some site like envato elements? dont tell me you did all of that manually? :O
Honestly, the movie seems to try to make the war look like an epic and cool thing with the music arrangement. I genuinely think this Is one of those few cases where people not getting the real message Is the actual movie's fault. Don't get me wrong, dune part two Is a masterpiece, but even marterpieces have one or two mistakes.
Yes, but his not the bad guy ether. we are the ones weak to manipulation. The book show how bad things can happen even if the "guy" is gray or even good. Blind faith is the "bad guy".
