Ok here's a curveball: My classic BSA A50 was recommended to run on the first multigrades at the time, Castrol XXL, a 20/50, made in 1965. The design however, was from 1962, and at the time a straight 30 in the winter, or a straight 40 in the summer was recommended. Should I use mono's or multis?
