Thank you so very much!!! This is a resource that's been greatly needed, and you've done it beautifully! This does for classical saxophonists what Jamey Aebersold has done for jazz instrumentalists. BRAVO!!!

Awesome idea, misleading realisation. A human being is not capable of playing like this, in particular all those incredibly difficult 16-ths at that velocity. It would be of much better help to saxophonists if you asked a flesh-and-blood pianist to play their part, and not introducing the piano part into finale/Sibelius/musescore whatever; otherwise when it comes to playing with a human being, a saxophonist could be expecting from a pianist something that isn't feasible at all

completely agree this recording really throws me off with how little feel there is to piece super robotic especially when the piece asks for a lot of pushing and pulling through out the measures

Absolutely, I appreciate both of your perspectives! It's crucial to acknowledge that these videos are not a replacement for the experience of collaborating with a live pianist. They serve as educational tools, aiding saxophonists in studying the interplay between saxophone and piano. However, I think it's important to recognize that many students face limitations, such as limited access to a live pianist or financial constraints. For some, having these videos as a resource becomes invaluable when live collaboration isn't readily available. Your insights highlight the importance of balancing these study aids with real-world collaboration and the study of recordings. Thank you for contributing to the conversation!

@@jbargermusic Yes! This is exactly right! My students have benefited greatly from the your piano tracks, especially this one. It's a tremendous resource to help them prepare. Often, they only get one or two rehearsals before the performance, so having the opportunity to play along with a track like this is incredibly helpful. Thank you for putting together all of these wonderful tracks!!!
