I love Bruce Dickinson but the first two albums with Di Anno are the best. There was something magic that i already can't explain even after 40 years of listening.
Hi. That is called true passion for what you sing/play/compose. Sth that comes from the heart, done by great musicians can't be other than magic. Bruce is a giant to me but I love both albums with Paul.

It doesn't matter if Paul Dianno is sitting or standing, the best versions of the songs from the debut and second Iron Maiden albums will always be that of Paul Dianno when comparing to the versions of Bruce Dickinson, and it also doesn't matter who are the players, Paul Dianno always get the best out of these songs, Paul Dianno was always one of my favorite rock/metal vocalists, i wish him to be able to stand on his feet again in the near future, Paul Dianno rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Most ppl can't hear if a singer or musician is out of tune. He sounds as bad as Bon Jovi and Paul Stanley does nowadays. At least he doesn't lip sync like Stanley does.

I only wish he did more of his own songs. I don't want to be critical of poor Paul, considering everything he's been through, but there are great Battlezone and Killers tracks waiting to be done live again.
Is like a musical gift to our ears. This forgotten legend of rock should be raise again from the ashes of time. Classics Masterpieces of heavy metal in his voice one more time. Amazing the band.
Considering what he went through, had his operation and the rehabilitation process. He sounds incredible on stage Di Anno really made Iron Maiden stand out love the debut album and killers keep on rocking Paul! 🤘🔥

@@thomasanderson9202 Not really ever been a Maiden fan, just thought I'd give a little support as the guy's been through a very rough time. At least he still has some of his voice left, there are singers out there doing it who've got nothing.
Unfortunately he doesn't seem to care about the music anymore. Ya he can still sing but what good is that if you mumble the words. I love the work he did with Maiden and I wish he would have put the effort to refresh himself on the lyrics. My God man if you have to use a lyric sheet,use it. Don't butcher great songs. It's disrespectful to Maiden and his band mates. I'm sure they took the time to learn the guitar parts so he can learn or relearn the lyrics.
@@leftymcnally6913 For sure, that must make it a lot harder. I remember Axl doing his ankle right before his AC/DC deputy job, he had to use a 'throne' and did great (not that I like the whole idea).
Not exactly Long Beach '80 quality but I am just so glad to see Paul out there again. Definately my favorite Maiden era and the only two albums from them I still listen to. Keep Rockin' Paul 🤘🤘

Love Paul, I met him when he was touring with his Killers band back in the 90s. He was so kind and signed my killers album and the first two maiden albums for me. His voice is still perfect.

As much I respect Paul Di'anno. He is one of my favorite metal singer, my main inspiration for singing. He made an awesome job on the two first albums that are just cult! I like his album with Battlezone... But please, be honest 5 minutes guys... He can't sing anymore and he sound like an old man in karaoke bar at 2am and the tenders will kick him out because they must close... Sorry for this but it's not possible for me to believe that people think he sound Awesome 🥺
I think the same, it's like almost every coment are from fanboys, he is mumbling and he don't reach the key notes, at least they can try using a lower afination.
Almost 30 years ago , I hear this beautiful voice.This voice i will never forget. Looking this performance I'm filling deep respect to Paul. Years doesn't matter, this man got a difficult live, so I'm very happy he is on stage!

I met Paul and the rest of IM the day after a gig in Swansea way back in June 1980!! top bloke and a great night with Praying Mantis supporting. Happy days 🙂
