Paul’s respect for lineage, history and mentors is joyous. In this short interview, he speaks with reverence of Warren Benfield, Richard Davis, Frank Proto, the AFM, (and his interviewer) even as he talks about Gary and Francois. Have never met a more generous and inspiring soul. I have never had the opportunity to study with him, but cherish the connections I have had with him, and with so many of his incredible students (including Andy Raciti!)
