I love this bit (punny) so much (and could sort of relate to it) that I had to make it available for other people to hear. When Paul F Tompkins performs you should face the stage to enjoy his hilarious takes on the every day mundane that we all go through. He not only makes you laugh he makes you think " This guy has something going on!"

I didn’t go to the dentist for years, they were very nice to me and pretty painless. Just thought I’d throw that out there for anyone freaking out, it’s funny but it wasn’t as bad for me personally.

There is no book you can read or course you can take that will teach you as much about comic timing as sitting down by yourself and breaking down the delivery of every single line in this eleven minutes of audio.

Funny story. I was always calm and never yelled at at the dentist. But when I was 7, I had something wrong with me that they were pretty sure was cancer, to the point they had to tell me I would likely lose my leg and possibly die to prepare me. I had to have all these tests done like MRI, CAT, bonescans, etc, and even when I was silently crying in fear, the nurses would be yelling their heads off at me to stay still. Threatening to sedate me with another needle, which I was already terrified of.
