Unless & until ESPN exercises its option to extend the ACC media contract, then FSU presently owns its media rights upon the extant experation date in (c) 2026? 2027 ? ESPN may not exercise that option. In fact, odds favor ESPN not exercising its extension option - as they would have done so already if they intend to do so, most likely. ESPN is presently holding the ACC exit door wide open for FSU & Clemson by not exercising the extension option.
I think you're probably right about Notre Dame. I'm not sure about the NCSt part, but it's certainly possible. They could be riding the fence on the issue. NCSt did side with ND over SMU, Stanford & Cal-Berkeley, switching their own vote.

Recommend that you stop talking about Genetics. Your feud is not really helping the realignment story. Just read Regal Noles first post in 2022 on Warchant. Regal has never indicated where FSU is going. Just that they are leaving ACC soon. Seems to align with Josh P.
Greg, academics don’t conveniently fit other scripted narratives. NCSu is biggest NC public university, is Very High R1 Research university, ahead of FSU, and has legendary Cetenial Research Campus ! Many in the CFB blogosphere follow narritives, not facts.
NCSt is a very good college. But better than FSU ? Probably not. Not better than Va Tech, but close.
