Amazing , not only to talk so precisely when "off the cuff" but also with a great depth of knowledge. I particularly miss Paul's US countdowns which I tuned into on R1 late 70s, early 80s, when the UK & US charts were distinctly different until the 2nd British Invasion of 83 ish. Total respect to Mr Gambaccini.

Mr Gambaccini is a living legend.His knowledge is immense always has been always loved his shows because of his knowledge and things I try to remember (impossible) he’s still as relevant today as he always was a wonderful font of knowledge and a pleasure to listen too always.

Great interview...Gambo..so knowledgeable about music but never comes across as a know it all....he reminds me of the late great Brian Matthew when he presented S.O.T.S...He'd throw in unknown (to some) interesting facts about a song or performer and again...never came across as a know all
