Why you would give a 34 yr old a max contract without any stipulations is wild to me. Why you would give an injury prone player a max without any stipulations is also wild to me. To give an old AND injury prone player a max is just down right inexcusable, especially when your other max star is also aging and injury prone. We should have traded for halliburton when when we had the chance before we gave up way to much especially after tampering took the 2nd rounder away for James harden. After the Knicks just got KAT, there way better then us anyway. Ppl think I'm crazy for saying that but there starting 5 is crazy. Probably the best perimeter defensive team in the league, and they have really good talent, and because brunson took a gigantic pay cut (take notes Embiid, PG) there going to be good for a decade.
I think PG will be ok from this injury but now I feel like he’s going to get hurt again during the season. Embiid already nursing an injury. It will be a literal miracle to have both those guys healthy throughout the playoffs.

Hyperextension injuries can really vary. I hyperextended my knee back in 2017 and it took a looooooooooong time to recover. I walked it off and thought I’d be ok in a few weeks and I was way wrong. Of course I didn’t have access to the medical care PG has, but I was in great shape when it happened and it kept me out of action for a very long time.

I saw the potential in McCain during Summer League and those RICO Hines League game. The kid is actually very talented guard with a similar skillset to Maxey. Unfortunately at 6’2” he NOT a good fit alongside Maxey but could very well be a great offensive threat off the bench as Maxey replacement. Low-key this Sixers roster is NOT as good as some fans predicted. Daryl Morey is a weirdo dude OBSESSED with players under 6’5” particularly GUARDS. That roster is full of guards with only ONE forward and NO ONE standing over 6’9”. Yabusele and Oubre will be given opportunities to be stars on this Sixers roster with their minutes and limited length on this team.
The roster is really deep and competitive. There is really no player, aside from Bona I think, who is not ready and contributing. I really think Nurse can play with line-ups depending on the matchup

I wonder if the Sixers are laying the foundation to load manage Embiid without fines or issues from the league. They can just say hey he's been hurt since the preseason, of course he can't go tonight on your televised back to back game.

Well, if you didn't know it, it's because you don't have good sense. It doesn't take a lot of sense to know you don't sign a player that's known for injuries to a max contract on a prayer he doesn't get injured again. The 76ers was foolish for doing that.
