The ‪@MrBigVEVO‬ shred hero vividly recalls "the best day of his guitar existence" and illustrates how the whole body needs to work in unison to match Pagey's vibrato.

You really have to give Paul and every other guitarist killing it on YT the credit they deserve...most have lost a career or taken a huge cut in income, no gigs, concerts, jams. I cant even buy guitar strings in my province (Ontario) because it's nonessential. But turn on yt and here they all are keeping our community strong. Inspiring us all to keep playing.

Two days I’ll remember. I was in HS, playing folk guitar, when my younger brother saved my musical life and dropped the needle on LZII. Blown away ... second day is my teenage son asking me to take him to a G3 show with Satch, Petrucci, and Paul Gilbert. I was only vaguely aware of Paul. It still ranks up there as one a the best shows I’ve ever seen (and I saw LZ at MSG). Everyone love playing guitar, but Paul shows it every moment he’s on stage, or holding one. Or talking about it. I would love to see him and Rick Nielsen get together for a “coffee and guitars” chat.

Without a doubt best video about a legendary Page's style by a legendary Paul Gilbert. Nowadays, it looks like only punk bands do care about the rock'n'roll feel and emotion. The more complex guitar playing involved, the more stiff and frozen guitarist on a stage frightened to miss a note. I worship Page and thankful to Gilbert for spreading what rock'n'roll is really about.

It always cracks me up how Paul plays his own fast thing in between all the phrasing licks when he does covers Pretty cool how he plays Jimmy's pull off lick wrong, it's actually. A C A G, E D , C He is putting an extra note in there His phrasing is spot on I remember some Jimi Hendrix thing he did where he just shredded it to peaces . Amazing . you definitely can't say he wasn't fast enough. He is the top shred guitarist in the world for good reason!

Page made it so that others could copy it, expand upon it. Page has more variety, and SUCCESSFUL, lasting, endurable variety than any other riff and lick rocker there's been. He may not be the cleanest, flashiest, but damn if he wasn't the BEST. 10 peerless albums, some only get 2 or so. Successful variety, artistically (and commercially, if that means anything).

You are the most incredible musician alive. You can play whatever comes to mind. I'd give anything to see the moment when you went from being able to comp any technical licks ( i.e. - VH) into your own realm; that would be a magical moment. I bet you spent the entire day/night vamping on ideas. And, "low guitar, high pants" FTW!!
