This song reminds of my brother, PFC Donald Newell 101 frst Airborn Div. He told me stories that were horrible..Thk God he got out alive but not unscathed. Paul Hardcastle brings this time in my life and my brothers to light..Thank you Paul. Informational and beautiful music..Lee Boggs
It's not just combat veterans who are vulnerable to ptsd. Emergency workers, war refugees & those who experience trauma from various kinds of abuse are also sometimes forgotten. In fact complex ptsd is far more insidious, less understood by society and even harder to treat with therapy.
This song tells a sad story. Those of us who did not serve have no idea what these dedicated people endured. I just remember this war being on the news Everyday. When it ended during my high school year, I asked, How can a war end? Sadly I thought it was a way of life. I can't image what the people of the land went through. God Bless them all.
I used to see this on the evening news when I was about 5 years old. I don’t know if it has anything to do with me being intrigued and absorbed by it. Peace and Love to all ❤❤

Good afternoon RU-vid I just have one thing to say to interchanges Paul hardcastle is one of the greatest jazz players I ever seen I just think that we all go through interchanges and at the end and the beginning of the subtotal of a situation which were born and in this life we must leave the interchanges makes us strong The interchange it takes us to a place where we might need to be in the whole of it is God create on the changes in order for us to grow I think the interchanges helps us to go through things spiritually mentally and other changes that God helps us to grow in order to get the interchanges and where he want us to be at the designated place at the designated time as I always say God bless and keep you all on RU-vid one of your favorites Renee I think I'll call for all of you want to smile even when it's so hurtful for you not to smile smile in the way because the sub told her God loves us all in spite of whatever changes may it be maybe RU-vid you have to change thanks God bless
Please share the story! Always good to know the history of why an artist decided to make a song. For years, I thought 'Inner Changes' was a just another smooth jazz track until I learned that there was an original version featuring the voice-over of Peter Thomas.
T.W., as yet another Vietnam veteran (Navy 1968-1972), I give major "props" to you for posting this --- and to Brother Hardcastle for shedding light on the utter stupidity and waste that WAS the Vietnam War.
Interestingly when I first "Inner Changes", I thought it was just another smooth jazz cut but I learned that the original version was, in fact, about the Vietnam War. Paul has a way of hitting the emotions. Thank you for your service. 1️⃣♥️

I met several Viet Nam vets at aga 22 in Ocala, ( Ocklawaha, FL. Back in woods f t Uncle Wooley and Slim and bunch more lived. We could go that far but even country folk would warn you to go no further, they didn't.
Yep. Actually the Peter Thomas voice-over is from a Vietnam documentary of which Hardcastle used his voice sample. I did not know Peter Thomas was famous until i did this mix.
When my sudden impulse drives me to dug up for this Paul Hardcastle Classic...it is most probable because i have the hunger to figure out 19.. out of covid pandemically speaking! But since originally it was introduce as corona...then i am much certain that even if i have to redo this message again by trusting my ear and senses by listening using a headset i am pretty convince that the overdubs within this remix was "shokran"..please correct me if am wrong...and please give me a insight to which may lead me out of confusions and that the message was clear enough to warn arabic jewish speaking country.(stampede incidents on 4-30-2021)...makes me listen to this track again in a blasting volume to convince myself of what i have extracted out of this. God keep guiding us all who believes in thy kingdom and promise and as well to keep our faith within our lord in Jesus Christ Name.

A Wikipedia story on "19" does not mentioned it was banned by the government . Also which government are you referring? Because it was controversial, some radio stations refused to play it. Please enlighten me. Thanks
