This song is so so brilliant and addictive! I bloody love it! Took me and my mate ages to work out the opening lyrics "I ain't been to church in a decade or so.." Now I've worked it out it is so so clear!

Bearing in mind some of the stuff Paul Heaton has said, and many of the lyrics in other songs of his, I almost fell off my chair seeing him dressed as a vicar ! Brilliant song superbly sung and very catchy. Would love to know how many puns/references are in the video ref Porridge (HM Prison Shade, for starters) and previous works of their (bike made in Holland - Rotterdam or anywhere)

This song sounds like it's aimed at children. Straight out of Ballamory.

I am forced to listen to this song twice a day at work due to the office radio consistently being adorned with the shite which is Radio 2. This song is perpetually more painful everytime I listen to it. I'm afraid to say that you have turned me to Satan, he evidently has better taste in music.

I'm sure one of the fat dark haired girls is now in eastenders.

Somehow I don't get this album musically, it's not my style at all. I loved the previous ones so it's a little disappointing. I get that he is trying to do different things ... This is the only song on it that I like.

The problem with Paul Heaton is he does tend to stick to the formula he has created. It not that it ever stops working exactly, but I would like to hear some progression. When he veers off into other music styles, like when he covers other people's songs (and he does Blues very well) its more interesting and has more substance. I'd like to hear more complex or unusual pop from him, like Bell Bottomed Tear, which is better crafted than this constant bubblegum country twang that he keeps churning out.
