what excellent shots on that red and black at 4:25! didnt expect him to play the black after that shot, thought he would take the pink but instead takes a very difficult black and splits the reds up in the same shot. class play! respect! only people who play snooker will understand how hard those shots are
The Nicest guy you could EVER meet! What a gentleman Paul Hunter was! Had time for anyone! Such a sad loss to us on Earth, but what a gain to those in Heaven! RIP x
My god he was a class player. I reckon he'd have had 2 worlds under his belt by now, maybe 3! The only guy of the 21st century game that could stay with Ronnie IMHO. R.I.P.
Paul was a super talent. I played him one time in a doubles match. I remember making a 50+ break and then I missed, and he cleared up with 50+ to win the match. Back then I could tell what a class act he was.
Totally agree.. it does nothing but encourage more pathetic unessessary hate, Vile is the perfect word for it too.. This is one of the best breaks ive ever seen. I really miss watching paul hunter play he was lovely bloke and a perfect example of what a pro snooker player should be. such a sad loss.
That level and standard of play is a lot higher than quite a few of the top seeded players in today's championships. If he was doing that today the crowd would be absolutely ecstatic. I think John Parrott would probably say that. Because Paul is not here it's not f****** on and not fair is the exact expression of how some people out there like myself feel to this day. It's hard to get over and for some certain people, they'll never get over it and quite rightly so.
How CAN there be a god when these kind of people get taken from us so suddenly and for no reason that would make sense to me? One of the classiest players i have ever seen.
i couldnt agree with you more. paul was (and still is) one of my greatest reasons why i started playing snooker. watching hima when i was 9-10, i desided i wanted to be as good or better then him. (o sullivan still is the best in my count, then is paul.)
Guys, I used to see him playing, indeed a rare talent and an inspiration to any of us who like the sport, but... how did he die, if i may ask? Awesome video!
i know its been a year lol. but yeah i believe that was a kick on the red when he tried the deep screw. just rushed the shot a little too much because he thought it was simple and paid the price. still. excellent to recover though. great player nonetheless
its one amazing and slightly sick joke that he be taken from our wonderful game.... Classic moment @ 6:50 failed to get onto 13th black "Oh well..." Cu in heaven mate.
always drunk at venues and snorting cocaine which in turn blocked his arteries and gave him a heart attack which killed him !! those drugs are no good !! he was a bad example to young kids .
You talk some shit mate! Get your facts right b4 talking shite! He did not die of a heart attack, nor did he take cocaine or drugs! He also didn't drink! I knew him, and he didn't do any of these things! You just are a sad and jealous loser! GET A LIFE!!
