Now the rest of the world will start worrying about 'real democracy' in Rwanda. When they didn't care about Rwanda when it actually mattered.

I think it's fair to worry about any leader who extends, or gets rid of term limits. They might start off great, but could end up quite bad later on and then they're impossible to get rid of. With that said Paul Kagame has done just about everything right. Leaders like him are once in a life time and seems set to transform Rwanda not just economically, but it's political cultural for the better. He's not like Hugo Chavez whose policy seem nice at first, but predictably lead to corruption and disaster. Kagame's policies seem great for long term economic growth. Hopefully he keeps on track with what he's doing and doesn't default to popular, but usually bad policies at the first sign of trouble. I think it would be wise to one day reduce the term limits. Keeping Kagame around as long as possible might not be a bad idea, but he won't live forever and you don't know what kind of person will succeed him.

@Slim Pickens What are you talking about? Mobutu was terrible leader from day one. Power hungry and corrupt to the bone. His economic policies were also utterly disastrous. He's your classic African tin pot dictator. A fairer comparison would probably be Erdogan in Turkey.

I hope Paul kagame will leave office and not stand again. The problem with power is when you don’t know when to leave and think you are the only one that can lead. Remember history is the best teacher.... don’t join the ranks of Gadafi, Paul Bia, Houfet boinee ( no idea how to spell his name) etc Don’t suppress democracy it’s a concept that has never won

@Slim Pickens if you call me an idiot and you don't even know me, then you are not a well educated person not even a disciplined person, that is why you have problems with understanding good leadership. The your point shouldn't even matter

In praise of blood by Judi Rever - a Canadian journalist-you will know, at which point the world is being fooled about Kagame 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Judi Rever, she was working for Rwanda enemies. She didn't land her feet in Rwanda, she jumped on conclusion. Her research neither have introductions, nor historical background of the study. She didn't interview government officers, her interview based in Congo forest where murders of ours people are still hiding coz they don't want to face justice. Myself asked her if she did interview with an RPF INKOTANYI's Commander, she responded to me that, Gen. Kabarebe confirmed that RPF INKOTANYI went there. I followed Gen. Kabarebe's speech but I didn't find where he said that, we went in Congo to kill refugees. But it was military operations which aimed to grab innocent civilians from hands of Ex-solidiers& murders who were using them as an umbrella of bullets after attacking District neighboring to Congo& run to hid themselves in refugee camps to confuse RPF. That Lady Jude River, she was looking for her master's degree& she have it already. She is too shallow to tell Rwanda's story don't relay on her.

@@rukoranyangabo9128 I don't agree with you... Working for enemies? Which kind of ennemies? As we are always confirming Genocide based on survisors testimonials, different research, consequences, preparations based facts, archives and consequences... I am not among those kind of people who stand for partial justice, Government written history,.. because Killings of RPF army have been well documented, survivors are still alive, consequences are so many and there is no justice on this side till now.. If we are really good citizens why are we condamnating one side of killers and praise an other side.... Judi Rever did a great work and it is a matter of time...what I can remind you is that there is also a mapping report... Rising of Kagame did not nullify all kind of crimes done by RPF army at his command..
