Absolutely hands down. Cheers to Jomez Productions and Overstable Studios for setting the bar and smashing it, to all of our benefit. And a HUGE thank-you to Paul McBeth, who's lifted the sport to new heights beyond all of our comprehension, for being willing to take us through what he carries.
Now that's how an "In the Bag" should be presented. All disc classes and the demonstration throw with a sidebar showing the stability (or instability). super well done J! Please do more like this.
Even with an In The Bag video, your production quality is off the charts. Setting that bar high for all the other disc golf content producers. Great stuff.
@@tannernoordam3620 When I started watching and following the pros in 2019, I kinda got hooked right away. So, I watched any Jomez video I could find but I wanted to watch recent/current stuff so I was always searching for 2019 tourneys. Obviously, Paul was featured in basically every tounament, so I only knew him as a Discraft dude. Once I got all caught up, I started watching older stuff and saw him in Innova and I was all like "What the whatttttttt??!?!" Haha
@@discgolflists haha that's like how I reacted when he announced he signed with Discraft. It was a definite shock to the system but hey, he's just as good now as he ever has been so it's not about the plastic!
I think I speak for most in saying that I hope next year holds a come back for ya, Paul. I miss the constant head-to-head with you and Ricky. Great video Jonathan.
Showing everyone else how an ITB should be done. Jomez is the 'top of the world' in DG videos. I'm wondering what 2017 will bring in the McBeth vs Wysocki battles. Should be very entertaining. Hope Lizotte is back in full form, too. Miss him.
every other producer of videos should hire you as a consultant. ive been watching your vids for awhile and they just keep getting better. what's next? can't wait to see.
I have to say, you guys have done an amazing job on this video. I found myself watching the graphics more than the intended content. Loved it, keep them coming.
Thanks so much! Overstable Studios went all out to make the clean graphics for this one, and we'll be collaborating with them lots more this season as well!
Okay I know its not a competition and you guys probably all love each other (as you should) but I watched central coast channel for awhile before finding Jomez and this channel is much more professional, clean looking, and just overall more pleasing to view. Thanks guys. I will find you on patreon soon
man you kinda set the bar for future in the bag videos. with the flight paths of paul actually throwing said discs lol, that was great. and nice graphics. great vid man.
Its interesting to see how Paul changes his bag up through the year with changing conditions! I also really like hearing what weights he is throwing, try to get more info like that in the future!
Loved this. Little feedback - would like to see the angle from directly behind the player if possible for the shots, or a reverse angle - it would help me understand the flight profile of the various discs. Alternatively, maybe drawing a "straight line" from underneath him would help me understand how his disc flies. Either way, awesome content, only wish there was more!
Incredible production quality here. Loving the graphics and the shot tracker demonstrating the flights of each disc. I get putting ads in there and don't want to complain about them. We all gotta eat. Just thought I'd add some constructive criticism for next time as y'all dial in this format to help the medicine go down a little easier. The main issue with them I'd say is the transitions. The ads just seem bluntly inserted right now, as if the video literally just swaps mid video. I'd say a little directing of the players and breaking it into definitive sections could work wonders. Kind of like doing all the midranges together then having a definitive end to that section by having them saying, "And those are the midranges in my bag, stay tuned to see what I use for distance out on the course" break to commercial. For this one specifically, I'd say the Innova montage commercial with Paul narrating could be used almost as an introduction without having to insert it like a commercial, e.g. "I'm Paul McBeth, and it's time to find out what's in my bag" transition to Innova montage. Would be great if y'all could do these subtle commercial / intro fusions for the main disc sponsor as the opener for all in the bags. Also adds a bit of the *why I throw x brand of discs* and helps people learn a little more about the pro in a natural way. Could maybe approach their other gear sponsors about creating similar montages that would flow really well in the videos as well. I'm sure y'all have probably thought of most of this, but just wanted to add my 2 cents :)
Hope y'all found this helpful and keep up the excellent work! I know a lot of this is also dependent on the generosity and free time of the pros as well. Would love each of the main disc sponsors promoting vids of this production quality for their main players! Maybe even once each disc golf season ;)
I agree with this constructive criticism. The commercials were a little clunky to me, but with this advice, I think it could smooth it out and make them a little easier to stomach.
Dennis Augustsson Thanks man. I just started it this year, I have been really busy so only 10 videos and already over 2,000 views. Subscribe because more fun stuff is coming out. In the bags with some pros and other tournaments. Gonna be good.
If Paul looks at the flight paths in this video - he should get rid of at least the half of his discs... ;-) VERY cool "in the bag" THANK YOU very much!
It would be nice to see same level in the bag of Ricky Wysockis discs! :D it's been a while from last one. You should take connection him and ask :P But very nice job with this!
What is the music at Supreme Flight commercial? I really love that music and want to play in my car. I have noticed this music in your other videos when you put the pin info with the drone fly over. Would really appreciate if you could provide the link.
great video! not trying to hate but it was a bit over produced. don't get me wrong I really appreciate all the work put into videos I know how time consuming and difficult editing can be but there was to much going on I felt it took the attention off of Paul's explanations of the disc although the info he was mentioning was shown it was just to much to take in at once . this is just my opinion I really enjoyed the video still I just had to watch it more than once to really get ahold of the info but that's just me. can't wait to see some tourney footage from you guys!
3:30...Four time world champ has no shame in rocking a factory second. You would asume that Innova gives him all his disc. I think they are great and use them myself.
Yeah I thought the video was over and almost clicked out of it but then realized it's a promo....no wonder PM left Innova for Discraft. A little too hard with all the innova branding going on there.
great graphics, even if maybe even too much to digest at a glance. I would drop the background music or fade it a little more when the person is speaking. 98/100 aint bad :D
No the PDx is a different disc, it just isn't in full production. It was a fundraiser disc I believe. If Discmania does decide to go full production then it would be on the website.
I got it, I ended up getting one. I will do a production of my own playing with a similar set up as the Mcbeast. Check out my channel and see what it looks like. I got all the same discs.
